Is it just me or once the combat update hits...TKM is really not going to need a whole heck of alot of money...except maybe for maintaining houses and the such. The fact that we do not need armor to "tank" (my armor cost me 700k), and the knucklers do not do kinetic (granted we will all still buy them for blast), what in the world are we going to spend money on?

Same thing I spend my money on now

about 5 sets of buffs a day, my guild hall, and I have a bad habbit of buying thing I dont need. A lot of money is spent on foods, I have a satchel in my inventory with like 15 crates of different kinds of food.

"Teras Kasi is a way of life" as the Narmle trainer will tell you. Who needs things like money and armor when you can meditate?

I was thinking about this, too. One of my large credit sinks is a new set of armor every so often (you can only repair it so many times before it falls apart), besides brandy and other drinks/foods. And right now in Live, I only use my armor for the high end stuff or for groups of middlin' high end stuff (especially ones that like to shoot me with blasters). I like to run around Coronet with no armor on and kill the reb guards, just gotta watch out for the experienced sith hunter dudes, they're rough. I also routinely run around the Tusken fort and bunker, and the squill cave with no armor on. NS stalkers and below, why bother with armor?

Hmmm, cool, this could actually save me lots of credits. Sweet. Now, where is that porno planet that someone mentioned?

There is no 'icon' for what I was before, but it was me.

Nothin? I use 80% composite now to tank krayt. I'll be glad when I don't have to buy a piece of armor every couple of buffs. Food might be the only thing we need, but I rarely even use that now when tanking a krayt.

My 'record' so far for standing up to krayt is a single Ancient for 1 hour while some wimpy swordsman and rifleman tried to kill it. Lots of 'fun' that was. Lately I bring a Jedi along, a kill in under 10 minutes is more fun

u can buy some BE clothing
i now use be-shirt and be-pants with my armour (melee/stun def and warcry/intimidation bonus) - can add a jacket soon.

i guess there will be special TKA-bio enhanced clothes to wear in fights available soon (lets see what would be appropriate be enhancements after the CU). it would be great if they will make coats (hood up and down) craftable with BE enhancements then. these will be at least close to the long desired TKA-robes.

TKM will help me support my pistoleer habit I guess. Wielding pistols without having to buy armour all the time is going to be awesome. If I'm not spending 1mil a month on armour then I can put that money back into my DE-10 collection

Look at it this way... People in live have to wear buffs to put on a suit of armor. After the CU, that won't be necessary because armor won't make you kill yourself without buffs. That means that most combat folks will wear armor 24/7, especially since you won't be forced to be a Composite clone to wear good armor, you have a whole range of *effective* armor types to choose from now.

What does that all mean? Most combat folks won't care about Bio clothes, at least stuff like robes, cloaks, etc. that can't be worn with armor. TKAs will, though. So TKAs will be the main market for Bio clothes for combat. And clothes decay...
