Thread: Suggestion to Help Melee/Ranged Combined Templates in the CU

Right now I'm looking at Master smuggler Master TKA and 0/0/0/4 in Pistols with CP 0/0/4/4 and ER 4/4/2/0


Gives me some great defence as well as crowd control and Tank abilities.

I really like how you can hold the ctrl key and click any special attack to be your auto-attack special. I've noticed while playing on TC that this can be a bit of a hassle when switching from a gun to a melee weapon, as you have to reselect the default attack special for your melee weapon during combat. I think it would be a good idea if we could select both an auto ranged attack as well as an auto melee attack. That way, when switching to a melee weapon the default attack changes on the fly. I don't know how difficult it would be to code but it would help combat quite a bit without causing any imbalance. I plan on going Master TK/Master Pistoleer/Smuggler 0440, and I think TKM will be a popular profession to pair with ranged professions after the CU due to the defense.

I like the idea of having a separate default attack for melee and ranged, which automatically switch when you switch weapons.


I was trying out tka / rifles, and that problem cropped up.



There is no 'icon' for what I was before, but it was me.
