Why do melee professions fist and smash their opponents with huge balls of light(mainly TKA)?
Here they went through the trouble of doing motion captured animation just so they can remove it at a later point. Why not just have the player randomly do an animation, instead of nearly removing all of them?
It makes the melee class completely undesirable to me!

Ok.. first i thought it was nice to see my server as test server.
But now.. its exactly the way i thoght!And as far as it concerns animations..it is just horrible
I'am TKM,Master sword,some pikeman and the only attacks with motion capturing animation are*drumroll*:
Lunge,Spinattack,Headhit,Bodyhit,Headhit
Maybe theres an combo animation,yes sometimes out of 100 uses.
Thats unexcuseable,there is absolutly no reason not to give an animation to stun,dizzy,blind,combo and power attack(would be best for unarmed hit 1-3 or maybe knockdown..)!
I even thought they would add new ones,but what about the old ones?just add them to those special attacks and it will be pretty fine(well its still horrible in some way,but less horrible).
Why doing this?Yes melee becomes undesirable,thats right.
And i hope no one disagrees that this is the worsest way ever to make range more attractive to make the game more like star wars.

There must be some way to change this..
Please, add at least the old animations to
stun,dizzy,blind,combo and power attack

Cant we make a petetition or something?this affects all melee professions,not just teras kasi.

If you do swordsman, fencer and pike you will find a lot of the old moves with the old animations. Like doing a head hit from swordsman with a VK is excatly like doing a headhit in the old system. I like this neat trick alot.

Agreed, I did some testing yesterday and I was amazed that they would do this. All that time taken to add motion capture in this game and then just take it out?!?! I mean it's not like there are enough quests and puzzles in this game to attract a player away from the combat system, so yes plz put the animations back in the melee professions...plllzzzz!!!

Somebody make a Client Side mod for us TKs that makes the new attacks look like old attacks. I think the current Leghit1, hit3, and dizzy would be the animations I would use.

Would that be possible?
I think it would be best this way:
Attack:Animation
Combo attack:Combo1+2
Spin Attack:Spin 1+2(already incu)
Lunge:lung1+2(already in cu)
Headhit:Headhit(already in cu)
Leghit:Leghit(already in cu
Bodyhit:Bodyhit(already in cu)
Power attack:Unarmedhit 3(fits well to the long windup)
Stunning blow:Stun
Dizzy attack:dizzy
Blind attack:blind
Armorbreak or critical strike:Knockdown 1+2(hammer punch to the head and elbow strike to the chest looks critical and powerfull
