Lets try this again *mumbles about some goddam forum timing him out and losing his post*
Since I had a bunch of various types of VKs on my Bria Char I thought I'd use that as a way to inspect the conversion process (in so much as it appeared the first round)
Mostly what I have to say looking at things UGH. These were all sliced weps pre-CU. The high end just seems too crunched and speed seems to factor in a great deal more then damage. This means that what may be a fairly good variety of the used VKs out there that just end up all looking pretty average post CU. (although I haven't compared these numbers to newly crafted/sliced VKs)
SPEED: This is weighted just WAY too heavily to the point where it has a huge factor in the quality post conversion. While max damage seems to have a very narrow window speed conversion is fairly broad... or at least has room in the defined ranges to appear more broad
MIN DAMAGE: Seems liek these were fairly well equalized. The speed sliced low ham experimented pair got a real boost... perhaps theres some theoretical min, but it doesn't really feel good.
MAX DAMAGE: Ouch! Not sure if its because slice is handled oddly here, or if there is some kind of theoretical max in place, but it just seems that the higher end - the only real differentiation in VKs pre-CU got totally scrunched up
HAM COST: Totally ignored and very, very disspaointing seeing as this was one of the few professions that may have cared about using low ham weps on occation.
WOUND: Totally ignored,
RANGE: Totally ignored, even in the cases where loot may have been used (dunno for sure in the 5th case)

something else to remember guys. normal VKs are now low level weapons. They are giving us the blaster knucklers and massassi knucklers, and most improtantly, at master the razor knucklers.

Is the razor knuckler going to be a quest weapon or will weaponsmiths be able to make them from the start?

The Razor Knuckler looks really cool on CU.
I wish fighting with it looked cool.
