(also posted this on the Bh forums, but i feel it might be better received here)
Each meleebounty hunterhas his or her own style.
I enjoy prolonging my fights, which is why I had chosen Teras Kasi.
Unlike the other melee professions, Teras Kasi is a state whore- andIt's all about knowing when to apply them.
==========================================================
Ipersonally start out with warcry, I use those ten seconds toappy Initimidate and dizzy.
Now I have seen most TKM BH just spam Unarmed hit 3 when they have a Jedi kd/dizzy- (Not a smart thing to do)
the trick is to get the Jedito drain their force, remember we are not swordsman so DPS is not our style.
After I have them dizzy, the 10 seconds are up and the fight is on.
If I cannot get them with a lunge, I hit them with the KD.
Once on their back most Jedi will begin to heal states- I will spam dizzy so the Jedi cannot get up, then re-applyintimidate, and thenstun.
Stun is a nifty state that most people neglect,and I try to utilizeit only when the opportunity presents itself.
============================================================================
"By knowing when to apply states any Teras Kasi can take out a knight, it just takes longer."
============================================================================
Signs of a weary Jedi (Drained of the force this one is)
You can sometimestell when a Jedi begins to get nervous by thesethree tell tale signs-
1: If they are standing they will hit force run and try to either flee the battle or distract you whiletheychannel force (This iswhen Lunge becomes your best friend)
2: When they are on their back you will notice that some Jedi will either heal less to conserve force, or franticly heal their Ham out of panic (this all depends on the experience of the Player)
3: Pay close attention whena Jedi's HAM is at 50%,
This is a crucial time in which theJedi may start to channel force or take a holocron.it should be at this time a TKM should spam Unarmed hit 3 and start to go crazy with applying states.
=========================================================================
Jawa beer no more! My Foods:
While most BH eat steak,I prefer to gobble down Exo-protein wafers.
These babies are only 5 filling and do just as well.
I combine that with Brandy, Thakitilo, andsometimes Burnout sauce.
Don't forget tokeep a Neutron pixie andMoun goldhandy
(as they have saved my a$$ more timesthen I will admit)
My Equipment: Ouch!!! my Ewoks!!
I know a lot of people hate these things but honestly Light Saber PSG's are your friend.
I combine that with Bio EngineeredMelee Defense clothingthat ismodded with Def vs KD, and Dizzy.
I also use two Modded Bracers that cap me on melee def.
I wouldn't worry about KD sea's, with Thakitilo you're pretty much good on the defense, it helps alot more if you invest in defense vs dizzy, and Posture change seas.
Stop Standing up!!!
This goes for both jedi and Bounty hunters.
When you get postured stop standing up.... just wait it out and kick some arse
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's all i have for now, i'll update it when i am not drugged up with cold medicine.
If anyone wants to add anything, then go for it.
Regards,

In my experience waiting out the dizzy is death. Hit stand-lunge, stand-lunge repeatidly and you will stand. That, or tumble to standing works well.
Great post!

does tumble to standing break the kd/dizzy? in other words, will tumble to standing always stand you up?

Tumble to standing doesn't work when you are dizzy kded. only when you're kneeling from a posture change.
About the original post, thanks, Its made my jedi hunting alot easier....Except when they bring a bunch of krayts on me. ![]()

if you want to become even better, here's some more tips:
Take a synthsteak 20 minutes before you fight, as well as brandy. That way by the time you get to your mark you're all set for the fight. It takes timing, but if perfected you can fit in a 35 fill thakatilo, 27 fill pikatta, then often 1 or 2 MORE synthsteaks during the fight and when your food bar is filling you can take protein-wafers.

Also the lower the drink bar the more blue milk you can fill. I suggest getting some 720 heal/30 fill milk. In a long fight I can sometimes fit in 5 blue milks!
Don't forget your center of being macro either, this is always a nice little touch.
I personally don't do the whole PSG thing, I find that when jedi see they are doing too little damage they run into their house. Besides, where's the honour in fighting a completely unbalanced fight? Leave the tricks to the ranged BH's, as melee we can generally go toe-to-toe if you know what you're doing, so saying "we're a BH, we have to use every advantage we can" isn't really much of an excuse.
I suggest putting in your toolbar /ui action clearCombatQueue. That way you can switch attacks incredibly quickly. I find it's best when you do the KD, spam hit3 a couple times, then go back to the dizzy until they are re-dizzied, clear combat queue, then start doing hit 3 again. Dizzy just doesn't have enough damage potential to make them afraid of you, which is what you want.
When they are afraid they lose concentration and make stupid mistakes like healing states at less than 50% health. When they are below 50% health and you are doing a lot of damage by rotating hit3 and dizzy, you'll find the jedi will concentrate on healing damage and not states. Sojust spam hit 3until you feel as if the jedi will go for another heal state.
Jedi aren't stupid. They will take food. Be sure to switch to unarmed LUNGE if your KD isn't working.
Also, dizzy recovery (this one is important):
If you want to recover from a dizzy/KD, the best thing to do is to put stand in your toolbar. Click it once -- wait for the message. If it says "you are so dizzy you fall down" click it again. If it says "you stand up" STOP CLICKING! Recoverying from a posture change is relatively easy. All you have to do is spam intimidate as soon as you're posture changed. The jedi usually get confused, and they will try to do their KD, which will pop you right back up.
Hope this helped! Happy hunting!
