Okay so there's stun, blind, dizzy, bleeding, diseased, poisoned, etc...

Can people list as many state effects as possible explaining what each one does exactly?

Like blind apparently doesn't literally blind you but prevents certain actions like harvesting and in combat, I heard it lowers your hitting and defensive abilities.

Disease causes wounds-over-time to a pool. Bleeding causes damage-over-time to a pool.

Someone correct me if I get this wrong:

  • Stun : Decreases targets defense. Also stun damage is a separate damage type; very few creatures, NPCs and PCs have stun defense.
  • Blind : Decreases target's accuracy.
  • Intimidate : Decreases target's attack rate.
  • Warcry : Decreases resistance to specials and state changes. (easier to land blind, intimidate, etc.)
  • Taunt : Target stops what they are doing and attacks you, normally with melee.
  • Dizzy : Causes target to randomly fall over when kneeling/prone/standing changes.

  • Bleeding : Target loses damage over time.
  • Disease : Target takes damage and wounds over time.
I forget about poison. I think is a damage over time as well.

    Few thinigs ..

The Stun effect is not the same as the Stun damage type (like you would see from a Fencer'sStun Baton-bypasses armor from what I understand).

Intimidate lowers the damage output of the target. For instance, if I was getting hit form 150 by something and then I landed my Intimidate, I would now be getting hit for like 75'ish type damage.

Warcry prevents the target from attacking for the next 10-20 seconds depending on Warcry1 or Warcry2. Whether it lowers resistance to specials or state changes I do not know.
