Are there better hunting spots for unarmed exp that are relatively good for soloing? Also, armor or no armor, which is better as well as what kind of armor if the answer is yes? I have experimented with a few armors and found the HAM costs are horrible thus far. But, the constant beatings per decent exp mob have too much healing downtime. Help please.

Hunting spots: depends on your level. When I started out, I killed outside of Theed, Naboo for quite some time before venturing further out.

Armor: I don't use it, but if you want to, here's some advice: consider what you're about to attack. If you can defeat it without using specials, I'd go ahead and put the armor on to lessen damage & down time. If you think you'll have to use specials, don't wear it, or make a macro to unequip it before doing the special attack. Since I don't know anything about armor, I can't advise you on types.

Downtime: Pick up medic. You don't have to keep it for the rest of your TKA career, but this has saved my (and many other melee profession's) life many times.
