Since Publish 6 when fighting with my VK's using unarmedHit3, I occationally see the target start to bleed. Now they usually don't last long enough (and the dmg spam above their head is too fast) for me to see how much the bleed is for but I'm wondering if any of you other TKM types have seen this?

I've seen this too. Seems rare and random to me. It happens so rarely infact, i cant see any type of pattern to it.

I see this type of"bleed effect" quite often but if you stand back awhile you'll also notice that the bleeds are only for 1 point damage. Atleast the bleeds I cause areonly that much. Can be caused by UAhit2 aswell, happens more often if the target is knocked down.
Seems to have something to do with causing alot of damage very fast.Always thought it must be a bug.
It's not new as of publish 6, these "bleeds" have been been happening since beta.

Maybe its just trying to be realistic i mean comeon i hit you in the nose your gonna bleed also unarmed hit three has a blind ocassionally attached to it maybe its just an asthetic addition to the profession.

IMHO, VK's should cause bleeding every time. I mean, examine your VK's. Think you could get hit with those and not bleed all over the place? BTW, what's up with the description? "blunt"?!?! /bah

Haven't noticed the bleeding yet myself but about vk's causing bleeding as a game mechanic I would have to say no. The fact that they cut and would cause severe soft tissue damage does not mean bleeding in game terms, otherwise, you could argue that all non-blunt melee weapons should cause bleeding dots. I think a bleed dot is applied to weapons or a situation where they can be considered capable of puncturing major arteries or veins. Longer swords and daggers maybe or precision ranged weapons but not some relatively small slashing weapon...abviously I agree that 'blunt' is not the appropriate discription for vk's.
In real life, ya, blood everywhere...but not when defining game mechanics in a general sense.

I've seen this many times, but only when I'm using VKs. No hard data, but I have a strong suspicion that it's tied to wound%. You'll notice that VK's have amarkedly higher wound% than most other weapons.

I've seen this with Vk's, rifles, pistols, etc. I think all hits have a random chance at causing a bleed, although not a strong one from what I've seen.
