Power techniques is best, for speed/ damage. Meditate 2 also helps for powerboost (a self buff).

has anyone else tried this combo? my current template is going to be nerfed so I'm going to put that extra 800k heavy weapons exp to use. I'm going to master commando and TKA. Is this a good combo?

strongest PVP combo becasue you can master both and have novice medic.

My Vubo is quite enjoying this setup (I took Nov Scout instead of Nov Medic so I could harvest HUGE amounts of meat for guildie Doctors and Armorsmiths). I am getting a little tired of Commando because I tend to use my TKA skills more often at the moment due to levelling, etc....

The good part about this combo is that you can kill things very quickly if need be. Hit them with a KD, then throw the FlameSingle2 on top of that. Very nice.

If you're looking to pvp, don't waste your time with commando at all. The flame dot was nerfed to a laughable point last patch and they don't have anything else going for them. Invest those extra skill points in a ranged profession, such as rifleman. TKM/riflemen are pvp machines right now.

Commando is not a good PvP profession. The only thing that works is the flamethrower and they nerfed it a little. The specials can only be done within 16m, might as well use TKA. This combo is uber in PvE, but not PvP.

I am working on this also. Now that I have flame 4, I am going to work on getting knockdown, then dizzy and then probably the meditation line. I will also most likely pick up TKM before going back and finishing off commando. I am mainly doing pve so the flamer can still get me out of most jams.

TKM/Master Commandos should shoot flames out of their eyes instead of having to use a FT.

I can't make my mind up what to add to TKM, I'm currently working on medic and then going doctor but I'm not sure. I did think about commando but it seems a bit pointless having more short range attacks.

This combo won't be anywhere near as powerful as it is currently now that the defences from TKA won't be active when you're holding a heavy weapon from commando.
