Ok, i had this problem way back before they nerfed force of will to what it is now. I complained about it then and no one fixed it. I have been off hologrinding for a while, and the one time i need force of will to work, it doesnt, and i get db'd and loose an additional 5% off my stuff.

Heres the deal:

If you have wounds before you do force of will, the calculations get screwed up and you can end up with negative life which keeps you incapacitated.

When can this be fixed? its been months and nothing has been done about it.

Did you have large amounts of wounds? did you have armor on? it doesnt happen all the time.

TKA's dont very often have wounds, as they get rid of them with meditate, but i usually let mine go untill they are near 100 before healing them, and this problem with FOW happens to me a lot.

you do realize that it doesnt work 100% of the time? it works fine for me once in a while , but when it does work its a blessing. and to fix that armor problem maybe you should insure them.

Check the message you get next time.

There are many instances which powerboost will and will not work.

1)recover from incap with HAM pools at full

2) recover from incap but HAM pools reduced

3) recover from incap but HAM pools reduced and 100 wounds to HAM and BF

4) do not recover from incap

5) do not recover from incap and HAM pools reduced

6) do not recover from incap and 100 woundsto HAM and BF

You probably got #5 a couple times. As far as I know these are the combinations that can occur.

FOW is awesome when you recover with full HAM, but that has only happened twice to me.

well, im pretty sure FOW has to do with willpower stats, it would stand to reason that it does, as it is called force of will, as a zabrak tkm with maxed mind stats and HA secondaries i rarely have a problem with FOW many times getting up with little side effects, of course ive also had it not work, you could try maxing your mind if you havent already, if that doesnt help, i dont know what to tell you, but i really dont think that its really broken, just be happy if it works at all, other profs cant get up from incap til the timer runs out.

Hmmm... sometimes when I use FOW this will happen.

You have been incapacitated by XXXXX

(I fall down, incap timer starts counting down)

You recover but feel fatigued

(I fall down again, incap timer starts againand Iget DB'd)

FoW = a chance of recovering. The only times it doesn't work for me (usually) is when I'm on a downer of some sort, or I've used equilibrium 45 sec or so before being incapped.

it's worked every time i've used it. Most times i get a large penetility in the way of -200 per main ham... BUT i almost always hunt buffed, and have a base 1300 mind... so it's always been a moot point to me...

I like it. It's saved my butt countless times now.

It has happened 2 times since last i posted. I checked and it says "You strain to regain consiousness", which i assume should be a success, but it isnt.

straining to regain conciousness is a fail, FOW isnt broken, i use it all the time, at least 2 times a day with very little failures and repucussions, have you tried upping your willpower, it is called force of WILL.

Willpower does not change it, per the devs. Its based on meditation line.

i dont know, the devs have said many things that just didnt work the way they wanted them to, being a zabrak and having high wp, i think its 900 or so, cant remember as i migrated months ago, but are you a master still or just med 4? that could be it, i didnt use it until master so i cant help you there, but again, i dont think its broken.
