So, I've been a Trans for the past 6 months, did 'THE GRIND', saw that our race was like: "give me a crutch so I can walk". Especially when I did Doc & later when i was Rifleman.
Then I read up on my race again and saw all the brawler/TK bonuses we get and decide to try it out. Well I'm loving it, but........
..... why is my willpower so low????
I understand that it's not the ideal race for Doc (who wants to be treated by a lizard) who needs high mind.
I understand that it's not the ideal race for Rifleman, who needs high focus.
But with all these brawler bonuses, it should be our prefered profession & we are really hampered when we cant put our Willpower up!
Either our specials should cost more Health & less Mind (illogical for the profession - logical for race of hard skin reptiles)
or
make it possible to migrate to higher willpower (illogical for race of dumb lizards - logical for profession)
Ok, I know someones going to say: hey, this belongs in the Races-Thread!!
Well, you might be right, or you might be wrong.
One last question (or joke): What is the best race for TKM??????

well if by best race you mean will power wise, its is not humans, it is moncal or zabrak, i never lose mind when i eat some food , never had, and im zabrak.

as a human you can tweek your stats with more versatility than any other race. Zabrak willpower ? I can set my willpower to the max as a human..if I want to.

I play a trandoshan TKM, and I have never had a problem with my mind stats. Are they lower than some other races? Sure, but I make up for that with buffs. The base stats really don't matter in the long run when you can just buff them anyway.
The only big draw back that ticks me off for the Trandoshan is the lack of gloves or boots. Just because Bossk ran around in a pilot jumpsuit that his little brother should have worn instead. Is no real reason to ruin the fun for the rest of us leezards. Doh! I'm begining to go on a rant.

Buy some brandy...will boost all three mind stats for approx 30mins at a time

My TK character is human, but my Entertainer is Twi'lek and we feel your pain too hon. Twi'leks get all these entertainer bonuses, and we have great Action and Quickness, but our Stamina is incredibly low. A human can set their action stats so that they can last forever dancing. We Twi'leks, on the high level dances/instruments, even without flourishing will eventually run out of action. It just doesn't make much sense =/

Sex race? I thought Twi'leks were mostly slaves during this period. That would explain low stamina... they've been beaten down for decades... or maybe a low will instead. I'd have to think about that!

I'm a Trans Master Rifleman/TK, talk about mind suffering. I have my mind at 1000/500/600 and I keep all kinds of mind food and spices on me and I don't really have a problem, especially if I'm smart about mind management. Just don't get crazy with the specials and you should be okay.

My alt is currentlya TKM/CM 4/4/0/4, and yes he is a Trandoshan. The mind part of my ham is always my main concern (I rarely get my Health and action knocked down). Right now mymind stats are 1000/400/400 and I have found that withsome of thevagisarian (sp?) and the brandy, coupled with apower boost and/or some muonand I rarely have a problem. If I go so far as to get all 9 stats buffed I can solo Rancors in my boxers.
I have experimented though with what will keep my mind up besides buffs and food. One of the things I do is carry a couple of PSGs and invest in low encumberance helms (+slice for enc.).
I also don't equip my VKs unless I am using Dizzy or UA3.
