Hopefully you have all read the new loot proposal. Anyway if you didnt it basically says that there is new loot in the works that can enhance your weapon. Some will be used by crafters and be permanent for the weapon while some will work like powerups and be temporary (either limited uses or limited duration). Anyway looking at some of the proposed loot it seems like the other professions are getting loot that will help mitigate their weaknesses either by doing more damage, increasing speed, or increasing accuracy. However none of these things help to mitigate the weakness of the TKA (only one damage type).

I understand that the devs have already thought about adding a new weapon to give us a new damage type and deemed it would make us to powerful. However what about just some limited use powerups. Perhaps some type of injector system that can be added to the VK for some acid damage or an enhanced vibromotor that adds electricity damage for a certain amount of uses or something. I just think that TKA are often left out when it comes to adding new benefits because everyone thinks of them as already to powerful but it would be nice to get some love every once in a while.

Another thing that I was thinking about is that with the new loot system maybe instead of looting specific weapons with DOTs we could just loot some sort of injector component that crafters could add as an optional component when crafting a weapon. This is another big concern for TKA as I find quite a bit of DOT weapons for just about every profession except for TKA and the few DOT VKs that I have seen on the market go for rediculous prices even if the DOT isnt very good (not to mention the fact that looted VKs have pretty poor damage stats). Even if you are not a TKA wouldnt it be nice to find an injector component that you can get a WS to add to a weapon you can use. Granted looting a really good DOT weapon will still earn you lots of creds but creds are easy to come by and not as rewarding as enjoying the game by being able to use the good loot you find instead of having to sell it and watch as someone else has all the fun while you go back to loot grinding.

Anyway just some thoughts about some things that Ryutek may want to bring up as one of the things TKAs would like to see with the new loot revamp.

I heard we are getting the Black Sun VK, but not until they make us less powerful on the combat revision thingy they are doing...well, I agree with you, we do need some lovin'!
