Once you get novice, as you progress up the power tree, exp comes EXTREMELY fast, if i was hardcore grinding, i could probably do it in a day or two.

Just as some data. here is what I did this morning in an hour before work. (I am 0243 in TKA)
Got a buff in Coronet, flew to Dant. Did a total of 4 quenker missions and killed various huurtons and pikets I flew by on my way to and from the lairs. Ended up with 210000 XP.
Each TKA branch needs 1,225,000 XP. So for Meditation, Balance and Powerthats 3,675,000 (Precision Strike sort of comes for free). So at 210k per hour you need 17.5 hours to master TKA. (Your results may differ! :smileyvery-happy![]()
But...you don't need to buff every hour or fly from planet to planet so 200k is conservative. And until you get a few TKA boxes, it will probably go slower. But overall I'll guess you should be able to average this.

I am trying to find the best way to grind TK. I havent found too many good targets to work on and was wondering how everyone else did this. Thanks

My Advice:-
Step one Novice Brawler:-
Kill the thug static spawns that appear near towns, relatively to get at least teh first Unarmed Box. Sell any good Loot you get on the bazaar.
Step Two Unarmed 1:-
Buy some VK's, preferably with good damage, preferably a few - get em' sliced and use the best damage or speed sliced, you will do less damage per hit, but more hits per second and thusly more damage per second. Keep killing static spawns until you have Unarmed 2. Keep selling Loot.
Step three Unarmed 2:-
Get a droid, group it and leave it in town, so you get the XP bonus. I think you can get a non-CH pet to help this too. At this stage you can consider getting buffs and armour and heading off to dantooine to kill quenkers- they will take a looooong time to kill so you might think twice about doing this - you get alot more xp per kill but weigh up how long it takes you to kill one at this level, plus the costs of buffs and armour etc. Whereas you should kill low level thugs for over 100 xp each, not much but you should be able to make 4 kills per minute at the right spawn with good VK. That's 24000 per hour so it's not as bad as you think, if you get about 3k xp per quenker that's the same as 8 quenkers, can you kill 8 in an hour ? I think you can but it's a riskier way of doing it andI don't know if you can do 8 in an hour. It's down to choice at this stage.
Step four Unarmed 3:-
At this stage you should be running missions with buffs to get your bread and butter XP, you should also be safe enough leaving your char AFK defending overnight while you sleep if you find the right spawn and you make sure your wounds and BF are low before you start.
Step four Unarmed 4:-
Now you have the most painful grind of unarmed, you are extremely weak compared to a TK novice, and I think you need something like 125000 xp, by now you are probably only getting something like 70 -80 xp per kill of the low level thugs. At 70 that means you ned around 1785 kills, at this time you might be able to do 6 a minute at the right spawn, that means you will take 297 minutes or around 5 hours grinding this way. I did this box by static spawn camping for the first half, then one buff session, Dantooine 2 x Quenkers, followed by kill everything in sight until buff ran out and that did it.
Teras Kasi Novice:-
This is where I'm at now, you are alot stronger now, do some real damage and get much defences, I helped someone kill Mellichae at this stage, with buffs so you are now formiddable. What is the most effective way to grind from here? Not sure, I'll be interested to see what the others say, you now need combat xp also , but you will probably get the first box simply from the combat xp you have earned so far (Provided you have been going up marksman Combat line to build up your max cap.
Look forward to hearing what to do from here

This Topic has been discussed so many times i think we should make it a sticky
But that said you need the following things:
1- Good speed sliced VK. since you dont have the cert for it the damge slice is pointless to you.
2- Good comp armor. Its expensive but if you can get the money it will really help.
3-Doctor & Ent buffs. i know more money spent but believe me you dont want to be griniding for month like i did.
4- a non CH pet or droid to group with for bouns XP.
5- Trip to Dant and do quank missions. and when you get there dont forget to sign up for Dant Exp Grinder socity

1.Speed sliced VK's (don't need to be certified to take advantage of the increase in speed)
2.Kill all mobs using beserk, until you get TK Novice
3.Try dune banthas once you get unarmed 3 on Tatooine or Hubumbas on Corellia
4. Make sure you are always grouped for the xp bonus
5. Once you get TK Novice, get a buff/brandy andbeat the cr*p out of quenkers on Dantooine
I'm sure there's some good stickies that'll tell you how to do it even faster
Enjoy
