Thread: Idea for a tk weapon

Since some mobs have 100% kenetic resistance, tk can become a useless fighter. Why not make a new knuckler with interchangable blades with different damage types. for instance you could see an Nightsister elder which i think has 100% to everything except blast. you pop in your 57-90 damage 2.5 speed "blast damageblade". make like 3 changable blades like blast,electric, and cold with less damage so tk can't be totally disabled in 100% kinetic fights.

Swiss Army Knuckler?

Similar ideas have been proposed before, I'm not comfortable with this though because the ability to change damage type on the fly seems like something to draw on the nerf bat, especially 3 different types of damage.

And remember that things like elders are supposed to be taken down by a team, and even tho you cant hurt her you can still tank her cant you
Ive done this a couple of times with my guild, TKM tanks while riflemen does the real killing.

Don't you think there is something wrong when you can get punched in the face with a steel blade vibrating faster then the speed of sound, and not even get a scratch? 100% resists should be removed from the game in my honest opinion.

If there were no 100% resist mobs, then everyone would be one template, tkm/doc, which my main testing char is. Having the resis just helps to keep things interesting.

No, the 100% resist mobs aren't preventing everyone from becoming TKM/Doc, that's silly. The fact that TKM/Doc has crappy defenses and not the best offense in the world is what keeps everyone from becoming one.

Swordsman would still be infinitely better in PvE, anyways. Also, if a Nightsister Elder had 95% kinetic resist and still kept heavy armour rating, the Teras Kasi wouldn't be able to do alot of damage, but atleast they could help some.

Not in a multiplayer game you won't.
