Hello!

I am currently a novice swordsman, and i have been a pikeman with another character - But i wanted to try Unarmed!

I didn't knew what master proffesion to take in this game but unarmed seemed good! It could somehow help you with giving you acess to stuff like commando, TKA and Smuggler and it looks cool. Somehow it feels almost jedi'sh.......... Meditate and all that looks cool.........

So in the last two days i have played non stop with unarmed! Im currently at Unarmed IV! But it goes so slow i cant take it........

I have tried everything... Im a Human with normal stats(does u get from the game when u begin)...... I give so little damage... i get so few XP and i have tried everything.......

The moment as i right this - i am fighting skaak tipper prowlers.... i have tried other things... bummers bullys... diseased nunas... wombrats... aggro mobs... and so on... on diffrent planets... i have used all my money on armor but it still not seems to help!

It didnt even took me half as long to become novice swordsman or pikeman!

Please help me... i know this should be in the brawler forum but all you guys have been through unarmed to advance to TKA! Please help... I have played for so many hours just xp'ing and it goes so slowwwwwwwwwww....... its insane...

Vibro Knuckler + Berserk = faster kills and more xp

Might get some armor to soak up some damage. My tk also has medic skills which I highly recommend as well.

But mate........ I cant use VK!!! Now its only TKs who can use them.... Im still at Unarmed IV!!!

Seriously... i have been killing mobs for two hours now straight and i have only got 1000 XP or something!!! ..... I need 70K...... Its gonna take years... Its not fair

ahhh too bad you didn't start with tka in mind, when vibro knuclers didn't have certifications and KD1 let you kill anything in the game.

hmm, did they change something this patch so that you cant equip VKs? If not, try them out anyway even without the cert. I got about 150k(this is really good compared to what I was getting)xp in 3-4 hours to finally hit novice tk last week. It really increases your attack speed and with berserk you should see about 170 dmg per hit. That's unless they changed something in this last patch.

OMG..... I can't belive it takes so long... Now im just standing killing skaak tipper prowlers...... These are the easiest NPC mobs their is... I cant even take down 4 Mummys.....

I have been killing them for 24 hours straight(except downtime)... I was just afk most of the times at night when i had to sleep!

One Tipper gives 50 unarmed XP...... This means i have to kill 2 of these to get 1000 XP... and because my character is weak and i need to heal after dealing with just one it takes very long time... I just took medic but it dosent help much when u can only use stimpacks A(small)...

To get 70.000 XP i need then to kill 14.000 tipper prowlers when one of them gives 50 unarmed XP......

Look at this this way...

One gives 50 Xp...

5 gives 250....

10 gives 500 XP

20 Gives 1000 XP

40 gives 2000 XP

60 gives 3000 XP

80 gives 400 XP

and 100 gives 500 XP

so 200 gives 1000 XP

and i need to get 70.000 XP

The ham costs of most armor destroys me... I have tried using special moves and beserk it all destroys me...

I have tried killing bigger things but it kills me fast...

Plz dont misunderstand!

I love this game... i love trying diffrent things... i love the idea behind TKA and everything else... but im also a person who belives that a game is also for enjoyment and this is not something i would consinder enjoyment... I know it will be when i reach TKA novice but in my current state..... no...

I might be a moron...yes i probably am...

Can anyone help me?.... is their something i can do?

Should i just quiet it?

Sorry for that whining post! Im just frusturated with my very bad progress when i really really wanna be a TKA....

Anyway... i went down and just bought some VK... 2.2 34-144! It says my lack of skills with this weapon will greatly reduce its damage... but it seems to help me anyway... It dosent give me more unarmed xp but it lets me kill them faster(a bit) which is a good thing i guss!

cool Believe me it is well worth the pain. Once you hit TKN you will be hitting for ~1k with unarmed hit 2. Having a blast with my TK/Doc

Ok...... Its just still going very slow though!

Go to Moenia on Naboo and get Narglatch missions. You'll net around 250xp per narglatch if grouped with a pet. Don't have a pet, get one, doesn't matter what it is could be a bunny, just get one group with it and park it well away from the lair to get the group bonus. Get novic medic, you can use stim b's with novic. Buy them in bulk you'll thank yourself later. Muon Gold is your friend, use it, love it, take it home to meet the parents. It'll keep your mind going so you can keep stimming yourself which in turn allows you to kill bigger and badder mobs. Sure it's got a downer but who cares, I was soloing level 22-26 mobs at Novice TK (Master Ranger, the examine window tells me a creatures level). Create a timer macro and use it to tell you when it's about to expire (lasts 10 minutes always).

That's all I've got. It's well worth the initial hell though trust me. After the grind through novice I flew through the first 4 boxes of TK in 2 days.

...... Well... i got a bit over 20K now!!! 50K more to go... Its gonna be a long night!!!

I think the best thing for anyone to do in your position is pick up med skills. Personally I ran around the desert for a few days fighting womp rats and scyks. You can take enemies that are red to you so long as you make sure to keep your target blind, stunned, and intimidated. Your med skills will also reduce your downtime.

womp rats give around 300, scykes and mutant womp rats give around 600.

You can also go to mos eisley and find the area where thugs spawn rapeatedly outside the lucky depot. 200+ from each one plus cash from their corpse

I am new on these boards, but here are my two creds. Even without the cert for VK's you attack EXTREMELY fast and with berserk your doing at least 150 dmg per hit. Well, that's my advice. The VK's are a big help, even without the cert for them.
