Thread: KD Changes are amazing!!!
I team up with a novice BH, almsot master Pistoleer most nights. The three of us mostly hunt on Dath. Most things these days con yellow or such( such as those new lizards) Here is my observations..
If you hit a mob with KD2 or even KD then instantly switch over to your vibros and spam UA3 4 or 5 times things are dying without even a chance of getting up. With the 1.5x damage from being on their back with the 5x damage of UA3 = 5 hits of 2500 to 3000. You put that together and that equals one dead mobs in 3 seconds. Most mobs arent even getting up from the attack and if they do 90% of them are running away. Its a quick and easy way to deal with groups of 3 or 4 white cons at one time. And it impresses the heck out of the people that are with you.
I would challenge you to play with it a bit, it doesnt work that well aginst tanking say a rancor but most things there are getting torn up from this combonation. This didnt work before because mobs were getting up instantly from KD so u had no time to spam the UA3 but now with them being on their back for 3 seconds or whatever it works wonderfully.

Agreed kd now rocks, 5-7 freeshots with my biggest attack i love it.
However yesterday it was taking me 4-6 kds to get the mob to fall maybe just bad luck but the day before everything was on the ground on the first or second kd.
Yeah I think that depends alot on the mobs resistance to KD and such. Or maybe you just get a bad stretch of resists to the KD. But its alot more fun to say that they stealth nerfed knockdown. OHHH lets spread a new rumor

I have been hunting on Talus, and since I got KD1 this past Fri, it's all I been doing. KD spam UA2 with VK's on. Torturs, Beserk Kumuras(spelling?), Savage Humbabas,etc.alldie within seconds and rarely get up before they die.
Last night just finished balance conditioning line and got KD2 so I am curious to see this works out.
