Master Pikeman here. I'm starting to grind tka for the defense and toughness, and watching novice tka and master tka i have to say some things in general.

You guys don't suck, i'm really sick of hearing people bitching about tka. in Pvp there's the tka's, the commandos, the bounty hunters, and the creature handlers.

You guys don't deserve a nerf, your class rocks, although i was a little annoyed to talk to a 4,4,3,3 tka after the latest patch. He was upset because he wasn't doing high damage per normal hit anymore. When i told him that is how tka is supposed to be, fastest class in the game, lower damage, he was amazed. Aparently he had gotten the idea into his head that he can have .5 speed, and hit harder than a pikeman and it was normal.

I'm a master pikeman with 26 toughness. Novice tka has 24 toughness. Master tka has the greatest toughness among all classes.

I currently hold the same melee defense as a rifleman.

my weapons accuracy is -55, and i have shorter range than tka.

Using polearm hit three my ham cost is 300. Polearm hit three damage modifier is x3 instead of every other proffesions x4

in four months pikeman havn't gotten a single fix, we were actually nerfed last patch, we lost 10 speed without gaining anything else.

I'm not here to bitch and whine about my proffesion or yours, but it drives me nutts to see negative comments about such a good class from such good people. You guys have been recieving attention from the devs and are making killer progress, but it isn't the same for every other class. Be proud that you have numbers and are getting attention and fixes, stop being so upset.

The grass is always greener on the other side, unless you're a pikeman and don't havea lawn.

Heh, don't compare classes. Most of us feel horrible for you poor pikemen, but your fixes are coming soon. While you may not be up to par with us, we're not up to par with what we should be. Yes, i think most definitly that your class is a lot worse off, but at the moment we are getting dev attention so we want to use it while it lasts and fix us as good as we can. When the devs focus on your class, you'll do the same. You may get a fencer coming insaying stop complaining since they can't even use half their specials, but you still have problems that need to be addressed. Im tired and high on caffiene, so if im rambling... yeah.

/bump Pikemen need some love. No doubt about it.
