Thread: Just starting to train as a TKNovice what should i focus on?
ok so today i am going to reach my first point in the TK tree and i was wondering what should i learn first?

where can i get a lot of combat XP to learn the branch to the right.
Most would say either Balance or Power first, since you get KD or speed / increased damage respectively. Meditate is a quality skill, especially if you have little or no medical skill. Striking will come with time since that is combat xp based. Everyone has their own opinions on where to level up, but I think the best approach is to test the waters. For example, try missions on Yavin, close to the outpost. Search for creatures that do not have special protection against kinetic, giving you the best chance with your attacks. If you feel the xp is good, move up trying places like Dantooine or Dathomir. When testing the later make sure you bring a medic with you, and a CH witha Grual never hurts to take the majority of the damage. Keep in mind you will be within 5m of your targets, so they will often aggro you. Be sure to clone, and watch you HAM with specials. There's no shame in taking a breather in a camp... it sure beats cloning and running back. Don't dismiss other places to hunt. If you look, even with select locations on Corellia, you can find mobs with low kinetic resistance and fair xp, which it all adds up.
