Er, right. Let me actually ask my questions.

I've been TKM for a while, but I have some questions.

I've been using knucklers about 36-145 damage, speed sliced to 1.8. I've seen/heard about other people using better knucklers, so I read up about the high powered components from Nym's Elite - had Knucklers made from a Master Wepsmith, and the result was WORSE than his normal knucklers.

So my questions are these -

1. How are these great knucklers made PROPERLY?

2. What are the ranges for these parts from Lok? For High Power Vibro Motor - I saw 20, and 22 for the bonus. For High Frequency, I saw 6 for the wound. What is the highest and the lowest possible on these?

3. Are there any Weaponsmiths on Starsider that sell Knucklers of higher power than the ones I've listed above?

As far as armor, what is the popular feeling among TKM's for ALL PURPOSE armor. Let's say you are in a group tanking role, but do some soloing. Is Composite the best way to go? I've heard Ubese is popular of let, old threads say to use Chitin - or a Chitin/Mabari combo. What is the most up to date opinions on armor and TKM's?

Why are you a TKM using speed sliced knucklers.

Well, I've been using this same set pretty much my whole way through TK. Which is why I am looking to get/make a new set.

But while we're on the subject, why wouldn't I use speed sliced at master? Is the speed irrelevant at that point for a TKM?

This is why I'm askin the quesions people, looking for some help here...

At power 4 you hit the speed cap so no need fo r speed sliced vk's.

If you are going to use them (i never really do) get damage slice ones. I have sitting in my back pack a 227+ damage set.

Mine were made with nyms vibro motors if not mistaken and the best ore posible if not mistaken. Just get nym's components and have a master WS build them for ya. Make sure your vk's are not the first he has built at top dmg stats.

Its bugged. At the moment you gain a bonus on speed when using Knucklers. Dont ask me why Its part of the devs new Combat revamp. At the moment we gain a bonus for knucklers to speed and damage in addition to our cap At master level there is still a huge advantage in speed when using one

So right now, Knucklers are better than non-knucklers for speed and damage.

But when buffed, shouldn't one always use knucklers?

I personally tend to stay away from VK's except in duels. They just seem to do more damage to myself from there HAMcosts than the damage that they are doing to my opponent. And at Master TKA, speed isn't really an issue.

Ok, thanks for the thoughts about Knucklers - Do we have any ideas on maximum stats on the Nym components? And anyone with thoughts on Armor for TKM's?

Armor: ubese in pve and comp for pvp. Try encumb sliced 70% kinetic resist ubese and you dont want to take it off ever it basicly gives permanent intimidate effect (actually better) on mobs hitting you. For vibro motors I dont really know I have pair of 40-217 vk's with speed of 2.2 and they hit harder and same speed than my 39-145 1.4speed vk's

I bought 4 +28 motors a while back. Those are the highest I have ever seen.

i wear my left and right bracer for ubese (cause im tryin to wear this paticilaur pair out) and in PvP i do the same thing except i wear th leggings an *might* wear the jacket
