Thread: Does unarmed Dizzy/Knockdown work well on huurton howlers and other mobs?

Well im kind of middle in rifleman right now, and im working on TKA. I already got intermediate power, so i can dizzy. I was wondering whether my next tier should be intermediate balance, so i can knockdown, or advanced power, so i can use unarmed combo. I would like to get knockdown but im not sure whether it would work effectively on killing huurton howlers, which is my preferred leveling mob. Does anyone know?

Dizzy+KD does NOT work on critters...But KD+Warcry does. Huurton howlers are good XP all the way to TKM so just KD then Warcry then spam the Unarmed Hit 2...Thats what I did from 0-1-0-0 to TKM..

Thanks for the help. My only problem now is that warcry only works 1/10th of the time. The rest of the times it just uses a lot of HAM and a lot of time, but the huurton howler evades it. What could I be doing wrong?

Is that from a loot, or can a tailor make those?

Tailor makes them with Bio Engineered Cloth.

Are there any other BE clothes that would be helpful to a TKA?

The cap on BE clothes is +25 per skill, the devs have stated this as fact. The skill mods window is bugged and shows it as higher, but it only works up to +25.

There are tissues for:

warcry/intimidation
stun defense/melee defense
bleeding defense
wound/injury treatment
maskscent/camoflage

and I think maybe a couple others, speak to your local Bio-Engineer about tissues, and tailors about putting the tissues into clothes for you. Many tailors/BEs work together to make the final product so you don't have to do any work at all

With my +25 warcry/intimidate, they stick almost all the time. And I love stun/melee defense too and injury/wound as I'm a doc

Get a shirt and bandolier with warcry/intimidate bonuses.

The rumor is no matter what you have the game caps the bonus at 25 so even though the poster has +36 the game only uses +25 and ignores the other +11.

That is the general consensus on the tailor and BE boards.

The reason you get a shirt and bandolier is because you can wear these with armor whereas with pants you can't.

There are only certain shirts that work. The tissue doesn't go into the clothes it goes into the reinforced fiber panel which is a subcomponet. So basically anything made with the reinforced fiber panel (except armor) can get it.

I'm not sure about armor. Once it didn't work once it did and the devs never said yes or no as to whether it was supposed to work.

Also about huurtons. They are great up to a point. Once you get a few boxes in the power discipline upgrade to pikets. They give more XP and they spawn more per lair. For destroy missions huurtons spawn 6 per lair pikets spawn 9. That's more xp. During a round of piket destroy missions I'd get 60K xp.

You also get tons of herbivore meat to sell to BE's and medics
