I was in a group hunting enraged rancors the other day. I was working on getting one-handed and pistol xp. Right now i'm a TKM/2-2-1-3 Fencer/Novice Pistoleer. So anyway, stuff happened in the group and one person died. Soon after that for some reason everybody had to leave. So there I am on Dathomir, I have 2 enraged rancor missions. I also happen to be buffed.
So i go to my first mission and i swallow a muon. Target a rancor and do UKD2 and then i spam UH3. It was dead within 15 seconds. So basically I just UKD2 + UH3 spam for the rancors. I took out the lair in less than 5 minutes considering I was using my gaffi stick to tap the lair, so it went slow is.
Now this isn't a "Nerf TK" post. For those who've played other classes, how do they compare against this kind of thing while buffed?
By the way, I wasn't wearing armor.

Even a pistoleer with super crappy dps can take out a PvE mission without breaking a sweat while buffed up to insanity.
They balance PvE for a person with a garbage weapon, no buffs and substandard armour.

Were your secondary stats buffed? And im 4/1/4/3 in TKA and the only buffs I use are my powerboost and muon gold.. I can take on 1 enraged rancor healing about 1/5 times depending if he gets any good hits on me.. and btw I dont wear armor either.

yea, my secondaries were buffed. With muon My UH3 would only take up 30-50 mind. And i had fishak + powerboost.
I realize that every other class could take out an enraged rancor mission solo, but my question is how fast? 2.5 - 3.5k per second isn't a small amount of damage.

As a former master pistoleer I'll tell you the one thing that we're really really good at. That's taking faction missions. Fanshot will destroy NPC"s. As for regular PVE encounters I've found that master pistoleer killed things so much slower than my 1-2-3-2 TKA. So IMO TKA kills things faster in PVE, but is deficient against a skilled, ranged, pvper (especially one on one)

I just went out fully buffed with a muon gold and my powerboost and I could solo 2 tusken warlords at a time.

With my 400/400/400/400/400/400/1000/1000/1000 stats while I'm buffed and take a BoH it only costs me 1 mind to do the good specials with vibros, I can do a piket mission in less than a minute. I need to try some enraged rancor missions.
Oh I don't wear armor either.

Considering the fact that many ranged professionscan just use a bleed shot on a mob, then hop on their speederbike and simply ride around until it's dead--I see no reason to nerf TK, or even make the suggestion that TK's need to be examined/reevaluated.
TK's actually have to take hits. They have to take damage. Many ranged combat professions, on the other hand, can solo mobs (rancors included) without even being hit. This is a major distinction in the PvE game.
