Thread: DoT VK's?

A fellow guildie looted some Damage over Time VK's and I was wondering if anyone else had stumbled upon any. If you have an idea of where I could start hunting to attempt to loot one any info is appreciated. Thanks!

If you find out, I would too would love to know where I can hunt them down. That would be very nice, even if the Max damage wasn't all to great.

I would assume possible dark jedi or high level mobs like that. Ive gotten several dot weapons from them, but never a vk's.

Nightsister elder on Dath, but good luck 350k thats all i have to say.

to post above, myself and another Teras Kasi Master (Also Doctor) destroyed one of those(fairly easily) Nightsister Elders, wearing 70% kinetic ubese with full buffs and a secondary mind buff. Fight lasted about 15 minutes, then she went crazy, incapped me, he got away, I FOW'd , he came back in, she killed us both. (We had no secondary buffs to mind) We went to the outpost (cloned) rebuffed and found a non-afk master musican, wetipped him very well for 2 mind buffs (I gotover 1000 to each of my secondarys, he had bonus SEA's to buffs, so he said) We went back she was at 66% then we basicly just killed her in about 10 minutes. Fight lasted almost a half hour of pure fighting. Oh... and she dropped ... 137 credits each.

what kind of XP did you get for the kill?
Did you get a broken vid screen?

ugg, i was afraid they would come from DJK's and DJM's. I havent goneto dant for several months, they need to take that planet off the 12 kb/s modem on our server. I guess I need to see what i can do again.

i bought a pair of mind poison and another pair of health poison VKs.
havent received the health one's yet, but the mind poison rock in pvp...the poison lands on maybe 2nd hit if not the first 
i love incappin the rebels and leavin them to poison on the ground 
also looted a fwg5 w/ mind poison the other day lol

I still want to know where you got those VKs LordValor lol. If you want to sell that pistol I would be interested. I'll send you a tell when I log into the game. It would be very useful in the little war we have with Havoc right now

I have killed a number of DJM, its basically all I do now, DJM, Krayts, and PvP, and I have never looted a dot VK off of one. I own two pairs of DoT Vks, one came off a bounty hunter mark that a friend gave to me, and the other I got off the bazaar and they are only like a 2 strength health poison which is useless. The ones I got from the BH mark are 64 str mind poison.

I'm pretty sure just about any nightsister will drop them, they usually aren't very strong though.

I usually clear the nightsister cave by myself (except for axvha,I need another person to take her out) about 3-4 times a week. I have never seen or heard of a DoT vk being looted there either, but that's not to say it doesn't happen. In my experience they drop primarily LVAs, VLs, and nightsister lances, of which I have a couple million it seems. No DoT vks from them though unfortunately.
