Hey folks, iam a master brawler/heavy swordsman. Since master brawler is now nearly pointless, i figured i'd pick up the meditation line of tka in its place. (mainly because my server seems to be half combat medics. i solo exclusively, so when i get a poison and/or disease, my run is OVER).

My question is, how long of a grind would it be to just level up the meditation line?(and i guess also the dreaded novice TKA grind ). I will have access to buffs, good armor, and some speed sliced VKs.

thanks!

What I've read to get novice TKA. ALl you need to do is get buffed get some Quenkers, not savage and use berserk, and you should fly through novice.

Quenkers are good to get to TKN, savage quenkers/huurton huntresses are good for after TKN. Other ideas are Fort Tusken (downside is that it is usually busy and people complain that you are "hogging their XP" - can someone tell me how to reserve XP?), Yavin, outside the mining outpost (downside is that things poison hard - this isn't a problem after meditation 2 I think), or Dathomir (much XP, much danger - take care grasshopper.)

Good luck, enjoy, and all that.

I did ALL of TK in 8 days. Once you get novice its not a grind at all. You literally chew through stuff. I did the novice TK grind on tortons on Talus. The place is pretty empty and with buffs and armor and some speed sliced VK's you should be able to go from unarmed 4 to tk novice pretty quickly. One suggestion I have to you is if you have the points, and are going to use TK for more then just Meditation then gofor the power line too. With 2 levels of power you will become five times the killing machine you were as a novice TK.

it took me about 2-3 hrs from UA4 to TKN.

bought myself a speedsliced knuckler (1.5s) went to coronet and grouped with a medium skilled sharnaff group.

auto attack and berserk and wirth a bit luck you get 800-1500xp per naff. depending on the group.

a mediocre set of ubese helps too.

at TKN i did the normal dant grind like all others.

buff up, grab armor, brandy, canapes and muon. head to dant, call pet, group, hunt savage quenkers, huttons, etc.pp.

pikets work too.

i would stay away from vornitors cause they have poison what will be a problem till mediatation 2.

350-400k unarmed XP shouldnt be a problem in a single grinding session (2hrs)

another option would be soloing sharnaffs.

find a decent sized group, ask the leader if you can stay in the group and get missions in the opposite direction (money issues). should normally work if you explain him what your doing. is better than stealing random lairs (what works too).
