Warcry still works in a cone effect. It will affect whatever your current target is, but the moment you hit the creature, warcry will break for it. The other major change is that warcry will not cause you to lose your target anymore. So you can target a creature, start attacking, target another creature, warcry it, but you will still keep on attacking the original creature until you purposely attack the new target.

This lets you basically spin around and warcry anything that approaches while you attack your target. It *is* useful in a few small situations once you get the hang of it, but 99% of the time, I just don't bother with it. If it was changed to an AoE attack(even just a short range AoE attack) it would be far more useful than the way its currently working =/

But yes, you can warcry whatever it is you are attacking, its just the moment you hit it next, the warcry affect on it ends.

Playing last night I watched the effects of my PvE macro. /intimidate;/warcry;/intimidate;/knockdown2;/unarmedHit3 X2.

It was my understanding that this (warcry) would not effect the targeted mob/player, but rather those around, in a crowd control type effect. However, this did not seem to be the case. My macro worked as it has in the past. Anyone notice a change to warcry?

Thanks for the info. I guess I will replace warcry with blind then.

And Stun. Stun makes them attack slower, and I think slightly reduces damage as well. I always stun and blind any creature. I only use intimidate on harder mobs, since I hit more often with stun and blind than with intimidate (even with bioengineered clothing), and stun&blind do damage as well, cost less ham and are faster, making them the better choice, imho, for creatures that have not too much HAM.
