Hi guys.. i'm pretty new to TKA... so i'm doing missions with a friend of mine...
has anyone come across wildlife that even when you are standing in them you are 'out of range'
i was doing Savage Humbabas on Corillia yesterday.. and i had to spam specials to just do some damage...
is this a bug.. or should it be doing this
cheers for the imput

I can't say I have ever come across it unless I'm lagging a bit (the creature has run away before my broadband provider realises it)
I dont know if it could have been coz of the recent "rubberbanding" issue. Just try hitting /follow next time you get it and see where your toon stands to hit the humbaba

I could be wrong here but if I remember right there is an issue with server boundries that can cause this though I'm unsure of the full details of it.
In some extreme cases you need to use a Lunge or two to get them to enter Melee mode, I've only come accross this once myself & that was when on a hunt on Endor when we pass too close to 0 0 when the DWB spawns were spawning there. One thing you might wanna try if you find this again is either standing right inside of them or attacking from the other side.
Would also suggest /bug'ing it & including your co'ords so the Dev team can look in to it a little.

There are also some issues that arise with large creatures over certain terrain types, and (in rare instances) merely large creatures. Basically the easiest thing to do is /follow (as has been mentioned).

I get this a lot when using a spin attack on large creatures. I always figured it was becuase their attack range was longer than mine and they were hitting me from outside of my effective range. Pretty annoying when trying to sping kick the heck out of 6-8+ creatures.
