Should a Teras Kasi use armour, for instance composite armour?
Will there be any advantages or disadvatages with it?

I use a combination of armor with buffs, canapes, and brandy. All depends on what exactly you are intending to attack.

I think the rest of your template should be considered before coming to that conclusion. Your mitigations and melee/ranged def. would be the deciding factor for me. Although, I think most tk's are probably o.k. without armor in most PvE situations.

In duels, a decent TK stacker can beat a lot of people without armor.

In "overt" PvP, at least a helmet and chestpiece should be worn. (unless your fighting a jedi and his friends aren't around--then you could go un-armored)
