I have noticed a large increase (on the flurry server) of VK's iwth DoT. I have killed many things in the past and have never looted a single VK. SO I was wondering where I should go to maybe find some of these. Do they drop off a mob or are they in a a container somewhere ?

I've only looted two myself, both of which have been off Nym NPC's, but your best bet is still the Sith. Try going after the attack spawns every 45 minutes in phase 4.
