Fellow Teräs Käsi,
It has been my pleasure to be the Correspondent for our great profession, and an honor to represent such a fine group of people. I wish that I could continue to serve as Correspondent for some time to come, but I feel that in the upcoming weeks my available time will be cut drastically short, and will result in a disservice to this Community if I do not step down before then.
With the Combat Upgrade looming ever closer the need for someone who is always available has become even greater. I know there are many fine Candidates here who can take up the reigns as passionately as I feel I have done, and as I hope I have done at the least. I will continue to be here as a "Blue Glowie," as this does not mean I plan to go anywhere, just that I will not have the time available to adequately be the Correspondent.
If I continue I will probably ramble, as it is always tough when a Correspondent retires since there is generally no clue who may be chosen as the next, which leaves us all in a state of turmoil. I would prefer to do that now, however, than to wait for a more stressful time that I know is soon to come.
It has been my honor, and I hope to continue to serve this Community in an unofficial capacity for as long as I can.

Well thats a shocker.
Sad to see you step down man. You have done a superb job man & who ever takes your place has damn big shoes to fill. I'm glad you will be hanging around as a glowie though, wouldn't be right without you here.

I'm sure part of the surprise is merely due to the fact that I truly do not want to step down. I have not lost my passion for the profession or for the game, which has made this decision all that much more difficult. I just know, however, that in the coming weeks (probably the next week or two unfortunately) my time will be cut short, and I do not want the Combat Upgrade Testing to start without a Correspondent who has the time to devote as much as will be needed. Rest assured, however, that it will take a lot to drag me away from this Community, so I'll still be here as much as possible.

Put in a good word for me Ryu, I can carry the torch.
I was looking forward to working with you in the near future. Maybe that passion will be rekindled somehow. Until then safe journies bro.

Unfortunately we don't have the control of real life like we all wished we did.
Ryutek, you've done so much for us in a relatively short amount of time, and have made this forum fun, easy to use, flame free (for the most part:smileyvery-happy
and a pleasure to be part of.
As you stated, there are plenty of great people here who can take up the mantle of the correspondent, so i'm not worried about our future, as we promote a team atmosphere in keeping this forum a great place.

You've done a lot for TKA as a profession, SWG as a game, and me as a friend.
Your kind words to my girl when I was hurt, and your E-Mail meant a great deal to me, and still mean a great deal to me as I recover.
I look forward to a continuing friendship with you in some fashion, honestly in any way possible. Your ability to have strong desire to improve TKA, but temper it with reason and logic have been amazing, and have done more for this community, than anyone could have imagined.
You've been a beacon to TKA everywhere, and a friend to all.
Ryutek my friend, be safe in all your travels, and enjoy everything.

Well Sir, you leave quite large boots to fill.
You did a very good job at gettin the TK boards organized, you communicated very well with all of us, and I for one will miss you as our corespondent. You came to every issue with a balanced opinion and gave us as much information as you were able in regards to changes upcoming in the game. I appretiate all that you did for this community.
To put it in simplier terms... before Ryutek... I hardly came to the TK boards. After Ryutek, It's a daily habit.

Good job man.
(hehehhe.. I understand the time issue too, I'd be applying for your position if I didn't already know that time is not on my side either! Not too mention, I doubt I could measure up to the example you have given us. Good to hear you're not leaving the game as well.)
