It was kind of funny actually, I was up at Fort Tuskin grinding away with a few n00bs helping them out, when I am sent a tell "CU is happening tomorrow." My heart stopped for one. Then I replied back "that was not funny" to which he replied.. "I'm not joking"
Suddenly my stomach rolled over and I looked at my surroundings. "I'm never going to be able to do this again." I thought. "it's over. my favorite move (unarmed3) will never again be played."
I walked out of the fort sat down and looked around. Suddenly becoming nostalgic. Realzing how much I'm going to miss TKM. How much I'm going to truely miss this game. The people I have met, the ways I have learned how to make credits by hunting. It's gone. Although grinding XP was always a pita, I always found ways of doing it and making it fun. Soloing. Going out and doing what needed to be done, without having to worry about every other player in my group. Its gone.
So with a heavy heart I drove back to the Dune Retreat took the shuttle back to Ethna and then back to Cornet. I walked one last time out of the starport fot on my swoop and drove to the cantina. I shook my head as I looked at the entertainers, silently thanking them for all the mind buffs and healing, and also a great time of kinship when I was a Master Dancer. (had to give it up for jedi plus no reason to keep at it) sat down, looked around and then sadly with my heart heavy signed off for the last time. =(
I logged on to my launch pad, and canceled both suscriptions (TKA character, Master Doc character) I have nothing left to say about the CU, I have said what needed to be said and like so many before me, I was ignored. I almost feel like a good friend has died.

When I heard about the CU going live this week, Azwari made a quick movie clip where I and Coreena went through the animations and specials we may not see again. Nothing fancy, but a treasured memory for me: http://www.mgm.me.uk/kam/tkm.wmv
We also held a sparring event last night, to one last time use all we learned. Gonna miss the animations most I think.

total respect
I feel kinda envious for you.. i wish that i had the opportunity to do that.. but i am away on buisness this week.. i thought that i would have at least one more night to play my favorite game.. but now even that small piece of hope has been snatched away... my last moments of playing the REAL SWG was out with my guild killing Krayts.. oh well at least i went out with a bang.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone too.. i don't get back till the 3rd so we will be well into SWG II....
See you all on the flipside for SWG II: The Nerfbat Strikes Back

This is depressing
, best profession in the game. I had mastered it prebuff and had kept it throughout the hologrind.
Most entertaining to look at too, what other profession could use every ability to good utility and enjoy how each move looked
(well, later on at least lol)
Sorry to see you go, I felt the same way out on the dune sea near wayfar watching the sunset. Where I originally spent the most time originally training the skill.

Heh, thank Azwari, he recorded it, and put the music in, and put it up on his site.
