Thread: TKM needs help

PLEASE DON'T FLAME ME or tell me to "read the stickies" because I've read nearly every darn thing I've seen and I don't know what to do!
All I want to do is log in and grind xp or kill Tusken Raiders for xp and loot. I am TKM. Armor does no good, I get worse hits when I wear it than without it. Do I need new armor? What kind? Do I need buffs? Buffs, from what I've read are only 10-20% of what they were before and more expensive!
Is soloing creatures a thing of the past? Is SOE trying to push us into grouping for xp all the time? If so, I'm done. Funny, I was 600K force xp from Jedi.

Well, if you had read even half of everything you would have a clue what is going on.
TKM has innate armour now. If you wear ANY armour it turns it ALL off. Strip naked and go hog wild.
Second, you can't solo like you did before. You have to think now.
Soloing is definitly not a thing of the past, but charging into tuskan fort and pressing 2 hotkeys while reading a book is.

1-This is a level based game now. To play solo you need to fight people that are with one or two of you levels. You can find the level of them by looking in the round dot next to their name. Your own level is in the upper left corner of the screen. If they are a lot below you inlevel you will only get 1 XP per kill. If they are more than three leves above you you can not harm them and they will kill you.
2- The way around the level restrictions is to be in a group with a much higher character leading the group. This grouping thing is so important that it can not be understated.
As a TKM do NOT wear armor and don't bother with any weapons. You will do higher damage with your bare hands than you will with either VK's or the new Blast Fists.
If you have a pet it will attack at twice the rate that you do, oh and you will get attacked at twice the rate you can attack NPC's.
You will still be attacked and killed by lower NPC's but you will only get 1XP when you kill them first.
Remember you have to keep pushing buttons while you are attacked to fight back or else your toon will just stand there and get killed.
