I have been looking around for this answer, and if it has been posted before I seem unable to locate it.
Is a PSG considered armor by TIA? To put it another way, does it deactivate the TIA just like putting on any other sort of armor would?

Nope, I can tell you for a fact, the PSG doesn't negate your TIA. Good gawd these abbreviations... I've been running around with a shield generator (so there!) and no armor, and survived very well, even checked my combat log to see that yep, the generator was handling energy damage, while my innate armor was taking care of most of the rest. Finally feel like a martial artist, and certainly like a tank!
