Thread: My CU-TKM Experience

First of all my template as it is now:


Master Brawler

Master TK

Master Swordsman

Pikeman x44x

FS Melee Speed IV

FS MeleeDef IV

FS Ranged Def IV

FS Vehicle Control I




  1. For all those that say "TKM is no Tank anymore": Use Center of Being! With my template it will reduce the damage by 45%. (I can Tank 2-3 lvl 80 Gurks without problems and 2-3 lvl 82 Gurks when grouped and they help take em down)

  2. ATM there is no need to use a TK-Weapon. U do more damage without and dont have action-cost... (I would only use my PH to do a lot more damage and other weapons to bank the xp for conversion)

  3. Powerboost works but u need to meditate for 3-4 seconds before u hit the Button (the 500 health are now given at once and u can see a bufficon) Same goes for Center of Being btw: dont move for 3-4 seconds before u hit the button or it will not work.

  4. I am missing the old animations... But since the CU was launched too early I still hope they will come back.

  5. I can solo Krayts... with the latest patch they are a little tougher now but adolescent are "only" lvl 77 (if I remeber right) and I can fight 2 at once. Didnt try Ancients yet but should be possible.


Now something not only for TK:



  1. Area-Taunt and Warcry seems broken. I tested warcry on a guildmate. He had the debuff-icon, I didnt attack him but nothing changed for him (he could still move/attack. Not sure if they are supposed to get rooted as well, but I wanted to add this) Area-Taunt doesnt even taunt my target. (Taunt works)

  2. Use Spices! Neutron Pixie is great now. 20% to Health/Action Pool/Regen (minus mind regen but only medics need mind) ATM spices are better than food imho. (I still use my food but wouldnt buy the pre-CU stuff because its too expensive now)

  3. Missions have loads of creatures now! OK, everyone gets about 9k per mission (lvl 80) no matter how many ppl are in group but: Ground missions will not make u rich anymore (No more AT-ST/Pet-Group for 30k-Dant missions) Cant say anything about space... I dont have JTL


To come to an end:


I love it. OK, my toon on another server (Master Dancer/Musician) will drop dancer for Pistoleer and I need to grind it from scratch but: Pff, Its fun to play in groups again! No Combat-Queue? I dont really miss it anymore. (but would be good to cancel ur "queued" move tho)

/agree I'm enjoying it as well. I have TKM and Mstr Swords as well. Great for PvEcombat. Haven't fully tested PvP, but I don't care about that anyways.
