I get TONS of PVP in..that is the only reason i play this game.
Current template:
TKM
Master Saber
Novice Force healer
Force Enhancment 2-0-0-0

Something I've noticed players are still trying to SPam Specials.
Take advantage of this, watch there action and mind pool..once you notice that its drained to about 20% then make your move..remember TKMs are Tanking monsters so use it to your advantage.
The majority of the players that i have been PVPn against are BHs since im on the terminals all the time(template is done).
Clothing and FOOD is your best friend.
Leg sweep works great kind of a KD, even though most profession have KD recovery it still works great.
We don't hit very hard esp with a weapon equip so i would suggest that you go "Unarmed", Melee strike seems to be the strongest move.

Good Luck out there!

I may have missed something here, but - since we no longer have a basic autoattack, ALL combat in the CU revolves around spamming Specials, doesn't it?

I think that what he meant was that 'spamming specials' generally refers to players who hit one special over and over.. such as headshot3 for rifles ect.. now, due to the recharge time for a special, it becomes much more advantageous to plan a string of specials.. or to use a special here and there. The key being 'different' specials, and not one magic F1 key.

Some specials cost alot more then others.
I've been using Melee strike and leg hit.
If you don't have a weapon equiped your action and mind won't suffer as much.
Its not about spamming moves man..its about knowing when to use your specials and knowing when to go on the defensive.
TKM have great Defense..use it.

on a side note:
I do have Master Saber when i need to deal out some damage

When pvp'ing as a melee character always keep an eye on things you can quickly hide behind or run into. Remember your no bulletproof monk

Well im a hybrid Jedi/TKM ... due to lots of bad luck it looks like i wont be advancing my jedi skills during dounle exp week so my template is looking like itll be TKM/Swords0004/MBrawler/Healer2000/Enh1002 .... If i can get some more exp i think ill pick up force run or force armor but with that template i can heal non-stop (channel force owns). Just have to get the new food and the new BE clothes and i think ill do okay dam w/swordsman specials... I can also slow my target and enhance my combat speed.
