Thread: TKA Unarmed Combat XP now?
Examples:
Assumptions:
I am a level 50 character
My opponents are worth 500 EXP at whatever level they are at.
Example 1: Level 50 opponent
Full experience, 500 EXP for defeating this opponent. This EXP may be divided across several categories if necessary ( e.g. if I both heal party members as a doctor and beat on them as a TKA, I may have 300 EXP for medic and 200 for unarmed ).
Example 2: Level 45 opponent
Each level below yours is a 10% penalty, so 500 * 50% = 250 EXP, divided across categories if applicable.
Example 3: Level 55 opponent
Unknown. It's my belief -- based on anecdotal experience -- that you get an EXP bonus for defeating enemies at a higher level than you. So, to possibly spread this misinformation, I'll assume you'll get 500 * 1.25% = 625 EXP, divided across categories if applicable.
As a result, you need to check the levels of your foes. I believe that they are somewhat lower than your own level. In my own adventures, I've ranged from 1XP ( for critters well below my level ) to 20,000 XP ( for critters several levels above my own ).
NOTE: If you are in the group, everyone is effectively the same level as the highest character in the group when determining XP. So, for example, if my level 58 friend adventures with me (level 80), and we defeat a level 70 creature, both of us will get next to nothing in XP, as we are both considered level 80 for purposes of experience.
Thanks for your reply, I just read a thread elsewhere on the forum basically saying what you have !
As I said in the other thread, Seems like I now have to be grouped to get XP now, which I find unfair in many ways, but mainly you shouldn't have to be grouped to get XP but this is now the case with this CU. In my opinion, If you want XP then you should be able to go get it as and when required and should not have to rely on there being a group hunt at the time your online.

This is my point here, you had to group in order to get them missions! I'm level 80 and if I went on my own id get my butt whipped, unless I was in a group.
Try fighting mobs 1 or 2 levels above you for better xp ..
