They're still patching D2? Wow...

Anyway, I'm sorry you're not liking the game. I think the devs really underestimated how quickly people would max out their characters.

As far as I can tell, the "no content" problem is only such a big deal because of the "no loot" situation. I have those in quotes because there is content, just not on the scale of something like EQ, which has had years and years to develop. Similarly there is loot, but not in the way that other RPGs have loot. You might find a skill enhancer, or an elite component to a weapon, but you can't camp the giant fort for the forest loop earring, or kill the Veeshan for the uber leet helm of destiny (or whatever). Personally, I like it that way. I loathe endless camping for loot, and I'm glad I don't have to do it here to stay competitive. However, since there's no reason to sit and camp the same mob for hours on end, people quickly burn through the relatively small amount of launch content the game offers, and then start complaining.

As a causal gamer, I have yet to finish my character. I've used all my skill points, but I'll be surrendering many of them to advance further into another elite profession. After that, I plan on going through the theme parks, the Jedi-oriented quests, and will do some PvP if they ever fix it. After that, I'll see if I can't open up my FS slot, and give Jedi a whirl.

I can see how power gamers are frustrated with the game right now though.

Well 1st poster diablo 1.10 has zero nerfs. I have beta tested the patch quite a bit. Part of 1.10 is adding 150 new items, more loot, and they are adding content as they are adding synergies for player development, and they are boosting every single characters abilities.

I was not saying d2 was the benchmark for RPG's but d2 has sold millions and millions of copies, and is still on the top 10 of game sells every single month after 4 years

I am not even a powergamer. I enjoy the roleplaying aspect of the game, but once again I can play vampire at home and cook out steaks with my freinds all for free. The one thing fun FOR me besides the RPing is hunting and now the elite professions are getting nerfed all to hell.

This new nerf will make another elite class more obviously powerful and the nerf cycle will begin again and again.

I am not a SWG hater. I want this game to work, but 90% of my very lengthy friends list is already gone, and most of them were roleplayers and not powergames. And how long is our master weaponsmiths going to play until they loose there mind out of boredom.

I mean it took me 3 years to find the best bow in the diablo 2 game for my zon, but I have the best Vk's money can buy after 1 month of playing, and they arent getting any better. I wish I could at least look forward to some cool nice unique Vk's falling that were unique and not like every other tk on m server.

There are just too many things broken, too many classes that are broken, too many exploits, and now the whole duping thing has started here. Yet there main focus is nerfing elite classes instead of fixing this game and adding content.

I was saying this same thing a few weeks ago, and got alot of the whiner replies. Now there are very few whiner replies. As more people who do not have the free time on their hands that I do, are reaching the endgame of their characters, and getting bored of mission after gnort mission we are getting bored.

As for the second poster of doing them parks.....I hate to tell you this my friend, but all the theme parks are broken and horribly bugged. And even if after 8 months and $170 dollars you unlock the jedi slot, you can spend another 2 months killing gnorts.

I mean think about it. We are the Teras Kasi. We are a dominate class in the SWU. We can own jedi's.

But becuase some kid dueled a tka at 3 yards instead of 50 with his cdef pistol and we knocked him down and killed him, we are getting nerfed to hell, and the class ruined because the devs listen to these idiots and not the TK. If anyone knows about TK it is us, not a pre-schooler who lost a duel. (which consist of getting of the 1st attack anyways.

I just wanna know if the rest of you TKAs are just going to pick up the soap, or are you going to turn around and fight for your class, and fight for this game that could be great, but is being ruined by developer incompitance?

Well I am getting very close to Teras Kasi Master. I love the class. I am also almost a master medic/novice rifleman/CH/Scout.

After going through the horrible unarmed tree, I was very happy to see that TK was well worth the most horrible video game grind if my life.

Ever since the game has come out, it has become obvious that all melee classes are inferior to the ranged classes. I was a pistol specialist also, but I was running low on points so I dropped it. I keep the rifleclass just for PvP becuase the Tk is just worthless in a big battle.

What bothers me about this is that a Teras Kasi Master in the SWU is equal and in some cases greater than jedi. While I understand that they cannot be this powerful in the game, I wish they would at least realize we are underpowered.

So what do they do to us? Instead of fixing the things that needed help with in PvP and the over all horrible bugs/exploits/ and now dupes in the game, they decide to start nerfing the hell out of elite classes.

Knockdown has been on the chopping block since the beta, and this is the 3rd nerf for it that I have been around. Now they are nerfing beserk again to 75 damage which is just stupid. I hardly ever use beserk now though, becuase I like to be able to get a KD, Dizzy, blind in if I need.

I think we got the bad end of the stick on the whole player vs player thing with the BH ranged KD, and the pistoleers 8 meter pistol whip.

Basically if you are a melee class in this game, it is like being in federal prison, and dropping the soap in the shower.

They could have fixed all the broken classes first such as the commandos/DE/BE etc etc etc.

The fact is that this game has zero substance, zero content, and zero loot. About the only fun thing to do is hunt and the occasional roleplaying, but I can roleplay for free at home with D&D buddies.

SWG is like the most beautiful picture frame in the world, the only problem with this is that there is a picture missing. About the only thing to do in the game is to go hunting on the harder planets with a fun group, but now with the 400+ cost for knockdown this wll be pointless to do as a TKA.

I may play one more month until the diablo 1.10 patch goes live, or This may be my lsat week or 2. I was hoping to play this game for the next year or so, but alas too many bugs/exploits/nerfing/and now duping.

No offense, but .... Diablo 2??? LoL, yeah there's a legit game that is chock full of substance, oh wait, 1.10 isnt adding any new acts or anything, just changes/nerfs that should have been in place years ago.
