To start out I am a casual player in the sense that i get online and talk with PA friends, shop around, see the sites, level a bit either in Rifle or TK, maybe do a couple faction missions. But i still have the goals of reaching the top of my professions.

My world is getting rocked right now!

I feel that the longer I wait to level the harder and harder it is going to be, to where eventually it will come to a grinding halt (i.e. EQ level 60 and AA Points)

I am hearing that Riflemen wont be able to doublestack mind bleeds, TK's are gonna get popped on damage (or something), ATST are too overbalancing (whining rebs hehe), they are adding resists to MOBs and adding HAM points to them as well.

I am trandoshan and need 19800 faction to get an ATST, i currently have 15000 (after almost two monthes of faction banking)

With all that said, how do i choose what to level in first? Should i drop all the BSing and just start grinding away before i get slapped up side the head with the NERF bat? Or do i balls to the wall try to get my AT-ST?

I feel i have to make a choice at this point as i will not be able to accomplish all the things i need.

My final point here is, I wish they would not make negative changes in the game, I chose specific classes based on my observation and wantoness to play that "type" of character. Without anticipation that the class will regress in ability. I pay $15 a month, the same as everyone else does, the same amount as people did 6 monthes ago, i should have the same playing fields as them, and not get singled out, because 253 armorsmith/pistoleers got their butts kicked in PVP against a buffedTK/Fencer, then runs to the message boards to cry NERF.

This all adds stress to me the casual player in that if i continue to play casually, i will never reach my destination, just like in Everquest. Or is this supposed be EverGalaxies?

I posted here but am going to link this to all my classes boards to get a balanced opinion.

Thanks for listening to me whine a bit.

first of all atsts are WAY overrated and if youre tka rifle you wont need them to kill anyone really i would say just level up your prof, goto dath and train for awhile then work on the FPs

Welcome to SWG

I also have a full time job, travel significantly and have a family. TK has changed so many times since launch you really don't know where it will be in a couple months. It is depressing when you make your character based on the defination of the profession, then to have it completely revamped. And as a casual player, it is all that much worse.

!@#$$%$#$ with being at the top of any profession. It seems that exploration and socialization are important to you also. Just have fun. Do whatever you like to do. Like I said who knows what TK will be like in the future. Personally, I don't think the combat system changes will work the way they think they will and they will change it all over again.
