Initially not good, in the long run, excellent.

I at first was like, man how do these guys not wear armor, now i hardly ever wear mine.

Wookie would make a great TKM, i am speaking speculatively here since i have never truely experienced a wookie TK.

Been unarmed Wookiee since launch, if we were able to ware armor everyone would hate us, and Crying that they can't kill us:as is everyone loves us wookiees.Trust me no need for it, you might die a few times before you get to TKN and a few times along the way because you get to confident.But in the end wookiee TKM's are fun. I rarely get Doc buffs unless i am tanking stuff that gives nasty wounds/bleeds combo. Even during the holo grind i only droped TKM once and that was for combat medic then quickly got it back. I am never dropping it ever again it was the worst day of my SWG life .

I have been a master wookiee tka for several months now and i love it. i dont see a huge advantage in being able to wear armor all the time cause you always have to be buffed while wearing it. and i dont knowif youhave noticed but wookiees seem to have a bonus to doctor buffs. my normal ham is 900-900-1000 but with doctor buffs and powerboost on i can get my health and action up 4200+!!! all non wookiees seem to cap out at about 3k+ with doctor buffs. who needs armor if you are capable of over 1000 more ham than someone else. With that much ham i was getting shot by an at st and i didnt even have to use a stim pack to heal myself.

Sweet. Sounds like a good deal then. I figure if everyone else that is TKM running around in regular clothing, I cant be too bad off with my raised stats and no armor. !

For those curious, I will be selling my sniper/surveyor for TKM. Works out to exactly 0 points left over.

It only sucks when you are up against a rifleman. A helmet would be nice sometimes to protect against those mind blows. Otherwise, I thrash some armored players up with a wookiee. I still think wookiees, in general, need some additional protection. Our slightly better stats are not nearly as good as some of the crazy armor out there.

I am 1 box away from TKM and have been a MCH for quite some time. Im also mixing in master brawler for the extra delay. Now i dont know how good i am in PvP .. but thats not my goal. I just love bashing stuff and TKM is the most fun ive had to date.

I am specifially oriented towards doc buffing so Im not the best unbuffed. But since my mate is a master doc i can get away with this. If I didn't have that easy access id probably be a master doc/TKM. Being buffed is great fun.. I particularly love to AoE lairs to death. Sure armor would make me much tougher but wookies just rule too much.

I'm a tkm wookiee and love it. I do wish somedays that they would give us a wookie only chest armor that would give us like 20% protection, but it'll never come like everything else in this game.......Stick with it bro....

I'm a wookiee TKM/Mbrawler/carbineer and i'm about to either quit or go down the reincarnation chute, the lack of armor at advanced lvl PvP is utterly debilitating. If you just run the numbers it's obvious why, any race buffed w/ composite will own a buffed wookie 100 out of 100 battles.

Check the wookiee threads in core systems for more info. We've no word about if or when we're getting armor, i'm not confident.

I strongly recommend you pick a less gimp'd race, unless you have faith in the developers!

I'd say TKM is the best option for a wookie.

Howdy. I don't post much, but I've been a TKM for about 6 months. I'm a Wookiee and I do just fine. As far as armor, PSG are your friends. I know they are buggy and break quick, but they can be a great boost to your defense in combat. Just make sure you have a PSG with no vulnerabilities.
