I personally believe the devs made tka mroe useful than it was pre-cu. Why?

1. Improved CoB adds the equal buff to lower level jedi Aura, thats fair to me

2. Innate Armor Allows a TKA to bypass the damaged econemy and avoid decay troubles

3. TKA Reinforce other professions (Fencer, Pikeman, Swordsman) greatly when it comes to defense
4. Since we have lower damage, yet higher defense, the nerf cries won't be quite as loud


And another thing i notice.

I have heard people mention Star Wars Lore saying Jedi feared the Teras Kasi Order, when in fact the Teras Kasi Order was mostly an observer. TKM should not be equal to jedi, unless those who believe it should think that the devs should impliment a whole new system to get Teras Kasi as well.

The way i see it, this games Teras Kasi Masters are comparable to Novices in the Hidden Order formed in EU

As someone who only has TKM, I dont see it being more effective, I dont have crap for offensive skills.

Actually starwars lore or not the Jedi do fear us atleast tks wiht doc 4000 and for good reason we defend as well as there master defenders we dont rely on a force bar. We do decnet damage if u have sword. So the defense of a master defender the admage of a close to master ls and the healing of a 3000 healer. Yes tks with this template are definatly somethign to b feared even by the ranged respec bh.

while tkm is very defensively stout, i dont think it can really compare to the jedi due to the healing powers that the jedi have, the ability to heal 1500 damage every 3 seconds is ridiculous

The healing is rediculous...we will see how mind cost will affect that though. LOL I let my CoB runout on accident last night, OMG 800-900 damage. Needless to say I died very quickly.

Yeah, the Jedi may have overly strong heals but really, Jedi spend a few hundred hours pre+post-cu non-holo grind in order to get a full template, they should be pretty strong.

TKM Alone: Tank with no Turret

TKM/Fencer, Pike or Swordsman: Has a Turret

TKM/MFencer, MPike, or MSwordsman/Doc 4/0/0/0: Can tank Jedi damage and force them to heal.

Personally I am a:

Teras Kasi Master
Master Fencer
Doctor 3/0/0/0
Combat Prowess 3/0/0/0
Enhances Reflexes Novice

I myself can tank Jedi Damage very well, and with mind cost on heals, i may actually become a ttough fight.

I however think

Veteran Skilled Jedi > TKM/Melee Mastery/Doc

It makes sense, the Jedi grind takes longer, it should have more reward.

I think that TKM is a very strong class when paired with another damage dealing class. Personally I sit at TKM, 4xx4 Doc, 1444 Sword and find the template extremely versatile for most of my needs. Even with sword in my template I find that I prefer to go unarmed for the lower SAC costs and I still maintain dps on par with everything but the most dedicated damage templates. Considering that with doc heals and buffs in my build I can last considerably longer than most damage focused builds, I am very happy with the results. Always having improved adrenal boost running greatly enhances my unarmed effectiveness IMO also.
