Unarmed is a really fun profession, though that unarmed 4 seems to take forever to get around to. Anybody grateful enough to put their secrets to exp gaining, please let me know. Right now I could use some info before the patch comes out, b/c after that I won't be getting on the forums for a while. o yeeeaaa

FIrst advise: Dont look at the amount of XP you need to get from Unarmed 4 to Novice TKA.

Second: Make friends with a Master Doc for buffs.

Third: (Corellia specific) Kill Humbabas. Pets getting nerfed now...but if there are any decent pets after the patch then get one and send it in first then follow to hit and the MOB yourself.

Fourth: When you have Unarmed 4 go to Dantooine and try to join hunting parties.

Fifth: At a minimum invest 15 points in Novice Medic ans buy Stim B's...cause you will sure as hell need them.

I got to teras kasi novice without doing any of that.
I simply went to the beach (Kaadara) on Naboo and killed a bunch of newbie creatures for 100 xp each.
Took about 20 minutes to get 5000 xp. 15k xp in an hour.
About 9 hours total investment to go from Unarmed IV to Novice.

sebulbo try the bleeding method. it worked well for me and when they bleed to almost halflife they start walking very slowly which makes it even easier to kill whatever it is. since you spend most of your time on tatooine i suggest either giant sand beetles, bull banthas, matriarchal banthas, these are what i used. and i know you still have novice rifleman so theres your bleed.

Hunting Diseased Bocatts and Rock/mound mites out of Anchorhead. Not as uber as Picket Longhorns but steady enough to make it in a couple of days playing casually. Oh yeah, watch the disease it can really put a damper on your day

I too, did not use any tricks to reach TKN. All I did was kill the lowbie mobs that spawn outside the cities. But yeah, diseased bocatts give good exp, and medic isn't bad to have. Be sure to watch out for the diseases from the diseased bocatts.... wonder why they named them that
