1. Don't PvP in Moenia... it's laggalicious and if you can't handle the lag then you'll probably end up on your back.

2. When you clone after getting db'd from the above situation, don't run to the Rebel coordinator to go back overt, cause you'll get kited from 50m away... where the imps are camped waiting for morons like me to get my tef... I clicked "Yes, I am certain I want to..." on my back I go... I was like GEEZ!

3. Don't FoW after the second incap. It just delays the obvious.

Geez I'm glad I can play this game without fighting other PC's! That just stunk... of course I'm new to PvP, and picked the worst possible scenario to test it out... but still!

i fully understand your pain

when i first started the game many many months ago, i had never played an MMORPG before. i was excited to be a helper in the rebel army and proudly wore my overt sybmol...until the Imps found Dearic on Talus.

i cannot TELL you how many times i would be sampling minerals or chemicals and in the next moment find myself in the cloning center going.....huh?

PvP is not for everyone. i learned that fast

Once your targeted in PvP either you or your enemy is dead in the next few seconds. The only strategy in PvP is surprise or overwhelming numbers. It's sad that the only strategy is the preperation. After that it's spam your best attack. TKM- KD2. Fencer - dizzy/lunge. MRM- SS2/MS3.

Riddix:

we'll have to meet up for one of the almost nightly AH defenses...

that's usually a much better place to start PvP in. The one time I've done it, I managed to do very well. As long as you can avoid the snipers out on the hill, everyone else is usually in the middle of town, and if they try and kite someone, they usually get jumped by several ranged players.

THERE YOU ARE!!! "Howdy Pardner"

I had no clue what your forum name was.. and couldn't remember how to spell your game name.

Let me say this... to all those viewers out there. Last night I get to the Imp Outpost, to handle some DT's last night. Esnaix is there... alone. No DT's. We group, hang out for 45 minutes AT LEAST... decide we are tired of waiting for a spawn... then a smuggler/mch logs on. Shortly there after we both type /logout. 10 seconds left before logoff and a freeking spawn comes! We haul butt there and I kd/dizzy, /uh3 and kill one, type /loot and WHAM!!!! Game crashed. Took me 10 minutes to log back.

I get back and I see the Smuggler, his two Graul Maulers, and Esnaix. First thing I see is "YES!". That smuggler got a sith cron. Poor Esnaix... I was soo ticked, but I kept my cool. Things happen for reasons, and lord knows I'm selling the first holocron I get. I just can't make that kind of money! Anyways.. thanks for some fun times last night man, and I'll have to hit AH sometime soon. Sounds like fun!

We played Star Trek on the imp mission terminals.. I was Cpt. Kirk, he was Scotty... needless to say... much humor spawned from that.

Thanks, but I really am holding off on a city or guild. I've had so many offers in the last few weeks its amazing. I will just shy away from PvP honestly. I don't mind fighting NPC's... besides, they say cooky stuff like when they are on their backs, dizzy and say, "You're gonna pay for that!"

I'll keep it in mind, though.
