Can not Master Combat Medic and keep TKA either.

I used mine for fun.. said Fencer Im over halfway to that anyway. I know i'll never give up TKM unless I have to, and even then I'll have to think about it awhile. I think there will be a general decline in melee anyway once people get frustrated with pvp and pve. For some unknown reason people have the idea TKM's can solo Krayts dont ask me where they get this info....

Well with the most wonderfull gift that the dev'shave giving us for chrismas (a holocron in case you didn't know) I wonder if it will increase or decrease the TKA population???

Most will probably do what I would do.

Master the holo profession without giving up TKA. Unless you get Bounty Hunter you can do this. It is possible to master any other profession (apart from BH) as well as TKA.

Combat Medic Masterwill not allow you to keep TK Master. It's because of that dang Ranged Support requirement. CM was my first holo, and it was a sad day when I had to sell off one column of TKA.

my holocron told me to master ranger which is fine (I like ranger stuff). But im going to unlearn everything i can BUT tka to get the skill points i need!

You can master just about any job in the game and still have tka.
