Thread: riflemen and their ion rifle
can anyone give tips on how to get them? i was ripped apart by one last night 3 times, and i couldnt figure out a way to get close to him. i was being hit for 400-500 damage every second because my comp armor is useless. is there anything for us, or any other prof, to do but turn the other way and run?

Well I've seen it on my server, so it is available, you just have to ask for it instead of triple kinetic.
First of all don't let yourself be kited.
Use cover, force him to come to you.
Secondly buy muon gold and fishak.
It makes your mind bar bigger.
And use CoB.

Depends on the quality of the layers....but 10% resists is better then a complete vulnerability any day.

well yes and no. It's true that your never going to seea high % stun on composite. This is normally how it workswhen you add a layer to composite it stacks with the % that composite already protects from. However since stun is not normally protecting on composite armorsmiths are not able to experiment up the % on stun, this is just the way armor makeingworks at the moment /shrug.Before youlose hope you need to remember that even that 10% will give you the automatic 50% cut in damage given by ap1 armor. While if youhappend to have good resourcesfor stun layers on your galaxy most smiths will only put a single stun layer since your not going to be able to get that higher resists without getting the huge ham hits from triple layering.

I suppose that would help against a stun baton or a tangle pistol but jawa ion has AP 1.

The best solution is to take cover and wait.
Sure you might not get the kill if gets bored and wanders away.
But ya won't die.
Try to get closer while remaining in cover as well.
Pick up master brawler for a longer range KD.
Once ya got MTKA master brawler is insanely easy to get.
