Thread: Just a few questions for new TK
1) Only bug I'm aware of is the Force Of Will bug.......... which simply when you get incapped. instead of it SHORTENING the timer, it increases it. And no, that doesn't ruin the profession in any way, just avoid using that skill and you won't notice anything wrong
2)If you're going TKM, don't wear armor. TK's Innate Armor is better than most bought armor you'll find. From what I've read/been told the TKIA is equivalent to 6000 protection in all areas.
3) Yes. TKM is still a GREAT PvP Class, if you combine it with a worthwhile secondary profession.

Sorry, pretty new to the PvP and such armor things. Where will I go to get Innate armor. I havn't played since JTL launch, and then I only mastered Marksman before starting crafts.
At TKM, you'll automatically get 6000 protection on all stats, if you are not wearing any form of armor.

Alright. If I can afford to find better than 6k for all, should I pick it up?
Now just to find a good template.
TBH. I would say no. Because it will be expensive, you're better off finding some Unarmed Speed Clothing Attachments, and buying a suit of all 4 socket clothing that you like.
TKA damage output is ordinary at best. The best defensive abilities ( Powerboost, Improved ) are available very erarly on in TKA ( 21-- ). The number of specials is both limited and fairly weak.
If you're going for power, then a little bit of TKA may help you (e.g. MSwords / MPike / TK 21-- / Medic -41- ) with some extra defenses, and by wearing armor you can free up a lot of skill points to spend in other damage- or state- dealing classes.
If you don't ever want to spend upwards of 450k or so per suit of armor, then TKM has a lot of appeal to it. Very low operating costs, and a lot of variety in appearances ( whatever clothes you feel like wearing or not wearing ).
If you want to be a TKM just to wear the title, then you could wear armor and still wear the suit, but you're spending skill points ( at least for PvP ) that would likely be better spent elsewhere.
