In relation to the post about Katarn Knuckler stats, could I get some input on what slices/pups to get to hit such a nice dps n such?

depending on the dmg cap which no one seems to know?
Add Dmg Slice, 30% dmg pup
be bad ass 
for pvp...
PVm... get a dmg slice, and a Speed pup... lots DPS...
once Crit chance works... 10% crit, speed

Get a Full damage slice, 1 speed slice, 1 crit slice. brings you to 100% customization. Throw some 32% speed pups on it. get a few unarmed speed SEAs in your clothes, and you're golden. Got my DPS up over 900.

I like SAC reduction powerups. I can use a lot of specials that way.

Bing a pistoleer with a low SAC pistol to me,I'll use my 772 max dmg, 917 dpskatarn knucklers.When I kill him tell me DPS doesn't matter 
I've tested the "DPS doesn't matter" theory again and again, and on MY end. dps does matter.

Yep, DPS is pretty much meaningless. Same for speed (since the specials determine your speed, not the weapon). Min/Max damage and SAC are the important stats.
