TKM transdoshan wearing ubese with 65% kenetic, using 2.2 speed 202 damage VK's. used muon gold, fishak(sp?), BOH, tat sunburn and anything else i could eat or drink. oh, also powerboost. tried to play nice with a blurrg raptor but he wasnt in the mood and struck me down. first time he just incapped me and walked away. try number 2, he seen me coming and dropped me again but still didnt DB me. try number 3. i got in tight and started beating on his head alittle. this just seemed to make him madder. i'm dead. clone. head back out to meet up with him again. i was still full from all the food and drink from the last fight so i couldnt eat anymore. so i powerboost and get ready.i figured i would burst run and close the gap faster(they have a ranged attack). he hits me for 1402 and i only have 1400 health. incaps me but lets me lay there. he walks away to give me time to get up and get ready again. i get in tight and take it to him. well, for a few minutes anyway. he incaps me again and walks away. i get up and charge again. incapped. 3 incap rule i take a cloning trip. make the trip back out to him and eat and drink as much as i can. sneak up behind him and start fighting him again. finally killed it. these things have medium armor, a nasty ranged attack and i didnt think to look at the ham. i am TKM with 3/3/3/4 medic and 2/4/2/4 fencer and i was not buffed.i didnt use alot of specials because i knew for sure i would kill myself before he could.

has anyone taken one of these blurrg raptors on and beat it first try? what tactics did you use? i would like a rematch but i think i need some advise on these things first.

i figured with the raptor having medium armor and the VK having AP1 i would be better to use them. if i am wrong could you tell me why?

Hmm.. not to sound cocky but I think I could .. then again I also beleave I could solo a Kimo with food and spice. I wouldnt totally rely on TK tho so I guess my advice wouldnt help hehe

Vika, you don't sound cocky at all. You just happen to have a god-like template for pve (is that cocky enough). Nobody should be able to solo the marauder cave 75-80% of the time while unbuffed. Unless they are a master brawler/blademaster/TKM using stim Ds. Never tried a kimo though. Lol...almost worth renewing the account for a try.

a friend of mine told me that a blurrg raptor has 70 to 75 k ham... if i remember correctly.

Normal Kimos should be doable by a vanilla TKM with a little luck. At least, that's all I am, and I've done it. Had to run like hell when he got down to low health and went to get his big brother, but I came back and finished him off before he could despawn.

As you had the Bleed line from Fencer, did youstack both Fencer Bleeds, TKA COB etc? I'm sure Medium armor is a bitch lol. I actually would love to test myself on one of these.

Actually i see you mentioned that you didnt want to use specials to preserve HAM....tough one. Double edged sword as I see it.

Wookies and Trandoshens really got the shaft with being designed for melee and they get no armor on certain body parts. Its those naked body parts that get you killed. I hope this gets rectified.

One of the best PVP TKA's on my server was a Mon Cal that had full armor on and maxxed mind. It figures lol

Corpus - Kettemoor

All blurgs can spit acid which is not kinetic damage. I really had a time to hunt them in Endor, because they kept the range from me then spit the acid, and it hurts alot! :/ Unless you can pull them to melee you, it's gonna tough work to do even with high resist ubese.

i stacked both fencer bleeds for each battle with the raptor. i have never used center of being, i couldnt tell ya why i havent, but i never have. i will try that one out today sometime. some of the encounters with the raptor only lasted a few seconds. that ranged acid spit they have is nasty like Christianohamtaro mentioned.

i have only been a TKM for a couple weeks and started working on fencer alittle after mastering. as i get into more fights i will learn to use all my skills to my avantage more. my next encounter with a raptor may end the same way as the first but i will give him a better fight.

any more suggestions on how to defeat this beast?
