I am currently Master CH/Novice TKA....I am wondering if I would be better off dropping CH, and going Doctor? Any advise?

Glad about any answer as i have this problem atm aswell. Master CH / TKA 2144. And just cant decided if i should switch to master doc

Doctor buffs rock. I'd suggest going Doc and the only reason why I'm not is for being primarily a Master Smuggler so I don't have the skill points.

I was Master CH/Master TKA and tbh it wasn't as great as it should've been. As TKA you have no real use for tanks which is pretty much all pets are now and you'll do a hell of a lot more damage than any of your pets will do so you'll find Doctor far more useful. I had to kill a hell of a lot of Sharnaffs to reach Master CH too so realising it was a pretty crap combination was gutting.

I am a TKM/MCH and I loved the combination. I never used armor or buffs of any kind and used my pets to make up for it during hard fights. Recently I started playing with doc buffs and bought a nice set of composite with some crates of muon gold and mind food. I rarely use my pets now.

I will be dropping CH to go master rifle and master brawler. CHgets hitjust aboutevery patch and is no longer fun for me.

I would have gonedoc/TKA,but I hate crafting andthere are many docs avaialble to buy buffs from.

I just got MCH and am going to drop it. I was just to close to it to give up after all the changes. The only thing I use my pets for is to distract ranged attackers until I can get to them. So most oif the time they are just sitting there anyway

if you PvP at all, Master TKA/Master Doc would be nice....the Combat Medics will try to disease and poison you to nothing, and its nice to be able to heal those. Also, if you die in PvP, you can always re-buff yourself

this might be a dumb question, but can BE's make pets with low HP's and high attack values? since you would be a master TK, you could be the tank, and your vulnerable pet could do outrageous damage to help you out.... plus with doctor buffs on you and the pet(as long as you dont recall pet into datapad after buffs) you could be dangerous in pvp as well.... then again one death in pvp and you are back to square one w/out buffs....

Me personally, I am a master doctor, master TK.... I love it.. my friends are always ooohing and ahhhing about the buffs and how they feel like I am incredibly potent in fighting.. I dont think I am that viril, but they do... but I do love the buffs, and the healing.....

Please dont use CH. All pets fall fast to the TKAS. Go doc.

I am a master TKA/CH. My wife is a Master Doc/Bio, so I have the best of both worlds. With this combo there is really no mob in the game save maybe the Canyon Kraayt which I fear. Also my pets work great in duels against Kiters.

I would go doctor if I could. As a Master CH all I use my pets for now is to get the higher paying missions. I could out damage my pets before the last patch and now I think the only thing I have in my datapad I could not solo is a frenzied grual. With a doctor buff though who knows never ran into one when I was buffed lol.

I am MTKA and Master Doc, and I am good at PvP, PvE, and Crafting!

And you can make ppl. happy with free buffs or so =)

You can enjoy 3 different aspects of this game.

To get resources for the crafting you can still get novice artisan for surveyingor novice scout for harvesting. I switch between these 3 times a day...

LoL, I love the CH/TKA combo, My wife made me two level 35 Cats (Gurreck/Razor Cat) with 8K ham, light armor 60% Kinetic, 40 NRG, 70 Acid, Heat and Electricity,med/strong poison 460-470 damage each (only downside is there action is at 5K ish) I think she used Bark Mite Burrower Queen + Merek Death Head and Gaping Spider Queen DNA then sampled it out three gereations,all I know isthis duo kicks ass. I usually go to dath to hunt. If she is not with me I park her character at the Outpost for teh buffs. I have to admit it seemed more fun as a pistoleer/CH, however I am still enjoying my TKA none the less.

If I didn't have her to buff me I would still prefer the CH as it fits my roleplay better aswell. Give the new system time before you discount CH, alot of the new pets blow the old ones out of the water (except the oldblah 75% Graul Maulers people still can't seem to let go of). /2 credits
