This has not been completely thought out, i must admit. I personally think of TKA as ninajas/monks. Why not give them ninja stars? It would be a limited range item (25m?) that would have the effects of a trap, only it will work on humanoids as well as animals. It can blind/deal damage to the enemy. You can use a star a select number of times...depending on how well the star was crafted. You must retrieve the star from the targets corpse after it is dead, this means you would not use stars in situations where u will die inevitably....

Preholo Scout, Opened Holo, Swordsman, did Brawler before finished swordsman. Next holo, Artisan, finished. Next, entertainer, finished. Next, silent. Now medic for fun.

Because TKA's are not ninjas. That's just it.

As a Star Wars buff, I know far too much about its lore. Those who practice Teras Kasi, according to canon, are few and far-between. The translation of Teras Kasi literally translates into "steel hands." It's basically an elite, noble form of combat that involves lightning fast punches, blocks, and hand-to-hand parries. It is NOT a ninja.

Technically, there are dozens of known Martial Arts forms in Star Wars: Teras Kasi, Wruushi (Wookiee martial arts), Stava (Noghri martial arts), Echani (Royal Guard martial arts), K'tara, K'thri, and Ember (Mistryl martial arts).

The closest to ninja would be Ember, as it employs Stealth and the use of lethal kicks and thrusts. The closest to monks in Star Wars is, of course, the Jedi Knight.
