Phonetically, this is how I say it:

tear (like tearing a piece of paper in half) ass (like your butt) kah (sounds like taxi) see.

tearass kahsee (like "sea", soft eee, not harsh)

How is it supposed to sound? How do you say it?

I don't know how Teras Kasi is pronounced in the Star Wars Universe but the words are actually from the Finnish language. Teras, meaning steel in Finnish and Kasi, meaning hand in Finnish. So Teras Kasi = Steel Hand.

Kreedly your pronunciation is correct for the Finnish as well as the way you have it spelled (with the double dots over the "a").

he is correct. i am a star wars nerd. the playstation video game entitled "Star Wars: Teras Kasi", terrible, but entertaining, taught me this. Teras Kai.

I kinda like "terah kai" as a pronunciation. It's really easy to say, and it makes sense (kinda). The "äs" is pronounced as an "a", so to substitute, it would be said Tera Kai. I like this way.

From what Im told its Finnish. My Finnish friend said kasi is said like the name cassie with a bit more of a zz sound than a S. Not sure but thats what he said???
