I'm a TKM who likes to fight groups of tough (red con) NPC's. I typically win these fights, but I wonder if there's a more efficient way to do it.

Let's say you are being assaulted by five NPC's (red, yellow, white, green, whatever).

What's the first thing you do? Do you target one of them with your mouse? Is there a keypress you make? What happens after your first kill? Do you target a second NPC? Do you do so with the keyboard? The mouse?

I typically do all my targeting with the mouse. I'm thinking there's a better way. Let's compare strategies!

It really depends what I am fighting!

If I'm fighting easy stuff (eg 5 or 6 pikets or something!) then I'll just spam spin 2 and watch them all keel over.

If I'm fighting harder stuff, like 4 or 5 enraged rancors, then it takes some more thought (and there is a chance I may not make it!).

Center of Beingis the first essential. Second is it put on a helmet to protect my mind pool (even just a mabari helmet is good to halve your mind damage in a lot of cases). Then drugs or food to keep your specials from hurting that mind pool too much. Hopefully most of this is done before you have 4 or 5 rancors hitting you!

Anyway, then I typically target with the mouse (sometimes the tab key, but that can be a pain when there are other creatures in the distance on the radar). I'll throw an intimidate and a stunat each of the rancors. I'll then go back throwing another intimidate at any rancors who resisted the previous intimidate.

I'll then pick a likely target and try and KD/warcry it - although its hard to KD these guys. I then use UH3 until they die. Sometimes I'll switch to Combo or a targetted attack if UH3 has reduced action or mind pools mainly.I then usually cycle through the rancors again ensuring stun/intimidate is running and repeat the process.

Just make sure you have CoB running all the time and you'll stand a good chance of pulling through!

Spin attack 2.

I dont know how many times I have cleared a room of nightsister's using this special.

It works.

Spin attack them to get HAM's low then individually KD+warcry+intimidate

All fini.

I have master brawler aswell as TKM, so I usually whack intimidate2 on allthe harder mobs first of all, this basically means they arent doing any dmg to me and I can tank for ages, as it lasts much longer than regular intimdiate1 - easily long enough for me to take out the easier mobs before concentrating on the hard ones some more.

Target strongest, knockdown + warcry/intimidate if needed
Use spin attack if others are withing hitting range
If no others are in range, use hit3
If many are shooting me, try to position myself behind a wall while still hitting my main target
Once strongest is hurt, pick the next strongest and repeat

well i was fighting 3 overt rebels in the coronet starport yesterday, 1 master sword, 1 master fencer and 1 pistoleer.

targeted the pistoleer, kd2 on him, stacked another dizzy, then hit combo1 (yes it's the best health attack in pvp)

targeted fencer, hit kd2 then dizzy 2x, then switched to swordman

targeted swordsman, kd2, dizzy, hit mind...killed him then the fencer.

their bleeds were gone in a cpl secs, and about 10 more rebels were after me

When confronted with multiple dangerous oponents, I will generally try to KD/Warcry2 on each one. This buys time for my friend the Master Rifleman to lay waste to these creatures. If I'm on my own, then I will definitely add in a few Intimidate2's/Blinds/Stuns and then concentrate on one opponent and KD/Warcry2 again as appropriate.

THius is what i do:

Toughest mob Kd/dizzy warcry if there is time

switch to easist then kill , switch to next then kill, switch then kill

If the toughest is on the ground then he won't be hitting you for big damage, then cycle from easiest to toughest. Hopefully that warcry got afew of the others to.

I am not a light Jedi
I do not see the light or the dark, it is all blended into grey.
Balance is the key, without it we would not be in harmony.

When we grey jedi get acknowledged then the real fight will start all of you upstarts will fall and balance will be restored.
