Thread: DEFENSE MODS STILL STACKIN'

Just making sure, because my MTK and first tree Fencer ranged def / melee def are still showing up as stacked. I wouldn't normally have a +120+ Melee Def/Ranged. Just making sure I'm not the only one who is still HAPPY!!!

Exploiter? WTH?


This is a natural part of the game. Mix & Match. It separates it out from the old boring class-centric games.


I'm glad my defenses stack. Why? Cuz I devoted a whole other set of skill points to mastering a profession. Why should a TKM + Doctor have the same defenses as a TKM/MasterFencer/MasterBrawler? If you don't let defenses stack, then this is what it means. Boooring.

it's the def v ..., etc that arent

The dodge skill from different professions will be separated as well, I presume it will be the vase for counterattack and block either.

Whew....


Good, glad to hear they'll still stack w/o any problems (hopefully). And logically, I can't see the def mods stack as a Exploit....If I'm a pugilist :I can defend against punches better, and If I learn other skills from other 'trees' I should logically be able to defend better against those weapons also. (IE. A TKM who learns Fencing stances should be able to defend better against 1H users as a TK, than a TK whom hasn't learned swordplay). Call It exploiting all you will.

Could I have a link to the "TC" forums?


I am a master TK and I just started on swordsman hoping that once I gotSword Offense 3 that the Defense Vs skills would stack ontop of my TK

I've looked in the TC forum, did a search and also look in the DEV tracker. I've found many arguments going on but have not seen a single statement from a dev saying that ranged/melee defense stacking is staying in.

as far as i know, defenses still stack. I'm pretty sure the changes are for the next patch.
